Fire Fox Help
I know we have a technical section, but I also know the traffic there is less than how much I care for anime(I like the idea but don't care for it) so I'm posting this here. Anyways, when I got Fire Fox, I customized my bar, and put certain icons like favorites and new tab up there, and they stayed, but recentyl, they've gone away, and when I put them back, they're gone when I close, and then reopen the window. I't really bugs me since I like having them their for ease, so any help, at all, is extremely welcome.

I'm not sure what causes it, but clicking the windowed/maximize button seems to help.

No, I mean like not there at all, as in having to reset it every time. The icons just disapear upon reopening.

I know the Tech section gets less traffic, but I do have to be consistent on thread moving. If I move one thread there for being out of place, I must do the same for following threads.
I'll leave a redirect in the Asylum, to get a few views your way.

Not that I can think of. I mean I just recently got it, like over the summer. I don't really know, I think I set it up for every desktop to be seperate, and they also disapear if I close the window, and reopen it in the same session.

Okay, I've found the below here:
Quote:
21.1.1. My Daughter keeps losing her Bookmarks/Toolbar/Settings...
LREmery@...

I love Firefox and use it on all of my systems, but my daughter's PC has lost its custom settings at least three times. I have to restore them (Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox folder) from backups. Why it just picks on her's and none of my others is a mystery to me. Any thoughts??
21.1.1.1. Multiple occurence
MCS-1 5K+ TechPoints

The only time I have seen FF do anything like this is when I close FF and then fire it up later, but the original occurence is still running (don't know why). I have gotten the box that wants me to choose a profile. Short visit to my process list fixes this.
Other than that .... I assume the name your daughter is using for her profile is her normal name and not a cryptic 'Messenger' style, 100 character name?

Ahhh - something else here:
