the NC knowledge base is too slow....
so i bought Coh a couple of weeks ago, and i loved it but i was disapointed that i couldnt enter the base for supergroups because i didnt buy CoV.
so i went and bought the CoV collectors edition, thinking that since i had a time card for CoH i could play either game and have bases and the extra functionality of having both games.
well ok i get home and install CoV and wait 11ty trillion hours for the updates and whatnot and attempt to play it.... no dice. ok, fine. so i proceed to create a new character to see what new costume options i have at my disposal... nope, didnt see anything new.
so im thinking i cant activate CoV using the already active time card i was using for CoH and since i cant activate it i dont have acess to teh bases and costume stuffs. am i right??

If I recall correctly, you just have to go to your NCPlay account and enter the game serial key. The free month should stack with your game card time.

Yes, when you go to you manage games page, choose to upgrade your CoH account, and then put in the serial code. This way that account will merge both CoH and CoV, instead of having 2 seperate accounts.

oops i think. i didnt upgrade, i just added a new game. at least id guess thats what i did, cause i have seperate login names for both games.
not to mention i deactivated CoH and it wont let me reactivate it. it says "That Game Time Card serial code is apparently already in use. Please verify that it was entered correctly, and contact customer service if you still have a problem." im lost, and bored and want to get some game play in today.

i submitted a question last night, and im still waiting on a reply... im just getting impatient.
i though about calling them but my phone doesnt have long distance.
i was just chaking to see if there as any ideas as to what i could do in the meantime while waiting for them to reply.

You can't do anything.
Eventually they will get back to you, merge your accounts and you will have access to both CoH and CoV content.
In future, these types of thread belong in the technical support forum, where I will be moving this.

my bad. sorry for the n00bness.
so i have to wait.... typical. nothing to do on this rainy weekend and i cant vedge out on CoH.... thats poopy.
