Hey there.

Tempestria is still looking for more members. We've 48+ members so far, and are growing each day. The SG is highly active, into roleplaying, into building relationships and friendships IC and OOC, and just overall into having a blast in game. What are we looking for? More elements of course! But we do have some specifics:

Keep in mind these elements do not have to be represented by a power set. Here are a couple examples for each:

Wind

Airwalker II,: Natural Scrapper (Broadsword/Regeneration)

Hun Yago had not always been a warrior of the wind. Before his time came, he was a sensai at the Tokyo School of Higher Martial Arts, a prestigious academy focused on the teachings of chi, tae kwon do, kung fu, judo, and other methods of fighting styles. On an evening walking back from work to his apartment, all he can remember is being swept up off of his feet and into the clouds high above the sky. When he woke his eyes looked into the pupils of a warrior dressed in wind-flowing garments as if he was of the wind. The warrior called himself Airwalker, and the weapon in his hand was Wundtai, the ancient sword of a wind god. He told Hun that he was unable to continue the legacy in which he was destined to complete, and this was now Hun's fate. He handed Hun his sword, and upon his flesh grasping the hilt of Wundtai the garments on the Airwalker were transferred to him.

Now, Hun takes his responsibilities as Airwalker II, and has come to Paragon City to aid the forces of good against that of evil.

AQUATIC RACE- Mermaid,Siren,Aqua elf, fishboy,ect (And as much as I really don't like Atlantis based concepts ill except some)

Ex- Coral was the head knight in the royal guard of atlantis. The city was at its prime and she was a feirce but loyal knight. A new era in the city was about to begin. It would be full of betrayal and deceite. Coral overheard plans to turn the kingdom agaisnt the surface dwellers. She warned her king and he sent her to surface to find reinforcements. (Sword,Katana,Claws,Mace,Battleaxe,Martial arts)

The Shinyness
Tanker, Invulnerability/Energy Melee
Light element

There are a couple of ways to do this. You could make a metallic character and be the wearer of the mystical armor Glimmermirror, that reflects the unseen light into this world. Or you could go with pale colors and be a being of light, made up entirely of light itself. Or you could be a mutant who anybody can spot at night, because your powers involve a lot of glowing.

Inspiration: The powers themselves. I have a metallic version of this, and she is SHINY. Needless to say, you can make the character even more shiny once you get your aura at level 30.

The Rebellious Titan
Darn near any combination, but tankers, controllers, and blasters make the most sense.
Dark element

When the Titans rebelled against Zeus, he shut most of them up in the gloomy realms of Tarterus, buried in the earth beneath even Hades' realm of the dead. Who's to say one or two hasn't escaped? All that time in the underworld, soaking up its dark power, would have left its mark.

Controller, Earth Control/Storm summoning
Water element

Sure, most people know Poseidon was the king of the seas, but he was also the guy who caused earthquakes! It makes sense that one of his many progeny might also have that talent, in addition to the wind and rain associated with storms at sea.

The Dragon
Controller, Tanker, Blaster, Scrapper, Defender.. the possibilities are endless!
Any element

Most dragons are actually based on one element or another. The western dragons hold to the four Greek elements (air, earth, fire, water), and sometimes light and dark. Eastern dragons use the five oriental elements (air, wood, metal, fire, water). A dragon can be a master of an element and still be a dragon.

Example: A Fu Lung dragon is a Chinese spirit of the air (I believe). It would make a great benevelent spirit that spits fire and heals others. A fire/empathy controller, but aligned with the wind element.

The Astral Being
Any power set
Mind element

This is a being that is, actually, pure mind. The thing that you interact with can be a mental construct, a golem that's telekinetically operated, a possessed suit of armor, or a robotic construct that is attuned to the mental energies of the being and thus focuses and enhances its power. RP thought: If the being is possessing/inside a golem/suit of armor/robot, it might not be there willingly....

Inspiration: Any number of cheesy sci-fi shows.

The Wondrous Wind

Wind element

Most control powers can be explained by mastery of the air. Fire control? A person who can manipulate oxygen and hydrogen and keeps a lighter around at all times. Gravity control? That ain't gravity- that's gale force winds squeezing the breath out of you. Ice control? Accelerated evaporation, chilling and freezing. Illusion control? Dust in the air. Mind control? Pheramones wafted out to the unsuspecting targets.

Inspiration: Anime. Lots and lots of anime.

Some ideas from me:

Water-Coral-Spines/Regeneration- Someone made of coral that can also grow and shoot it.

Light- Anything/Invuln Scrap or Invul/Something Tank- Some sort of light armour could be used as Invuln.

An ice tank could also be used as light since one of the armors is actually described as refractive.....or you could take the easy route with water

Elec Tanker Concept - Not joining, just a concept I toyed with as possible Elec Captain aside from an Elec Blaster/Defender. It would be Stone / Energy, the Energy being pretty obvious but as for Stone it would explain well using magnetized plates. Cracking the earth around the tanker like seismic plates smashing together so that the borken pieces can be attached to the body of the elec captain to form stone armour. Wind can also be FF/Energy or Energy/Energy as well as explain the Sonic element.
