Name Change.

I'm guessing the GMs can't change titles. It's not the same thing as the name, really.

I rarely use my first title, and have never used the second. I figure the second title is there in case I ever decide to get rid of the first.

They really SHOULD give you an interface to change your title, or at least get rid of it so you can set it again. If they force you to wait a week before setting it again, I think that would discourage people who would change their titles all the time.

Umm..... I was able to change my title just by talking to the trainer .... maybe I'm just special.

Actually, to be completely specific about it, you can change your title twice, once after level 15, and a second time after level 25. If you don't change your title at 15, however, you still have it available, and can change it after 25, giving you two changes total.

It's essentially the same as saying, "After level 44 you can no longer earn a respec". That's true, if you got the respec at 24 and 34. It's probably more accurate to say that you have a maximum of three earned respecs.

(I'll add that I THINK that if you don't use the lvl 15 title, which is the one with only one word, you have to use it before you can access the 25 one, which has two words. So if you set the two word title, you are stuck with it forever and can never change it. Thus I've only ever set the one word title)

Yeah, I have a simular Title problem being that I can't get the one I want. Wu's full name should be The Adept, Wu Shu Warrior but I messed it up cause Adept is Magic only and I went with natural. Finnally got around of trying to change it yesterday through a petition but no luck. Hopefully someday the Devs will give us the same flexablity with surnames as we do with Badge Titles.

Okay, this totally confused me (and I actually know how the titles work heh). What exactly do you mean about two words at level 25? It's one word at each tier (15 and 25). You can skip picking a title until 50 if you want but at the end, you'll have two columns to choose from (generic and origin based). Now, I dunno if they allow you to change your title twice if you've never done it before (i.e. if you wait until say level 38 to choose a title) but I'd guess you'd be able to.

Here's my advice. Google the name in question and find something that sounds or looks fairly similar that could be made offensive (and let's face it, ICE CREAM can be offensive to some people) and have someone petition it. That's the only thing I can think of.

Well, if you set the first word you can change it at level 25, so I think of 25 as "the two word title". Even though the first word of the two is just the same selection as the level 15 choices.

Then again, since I've never picked the first prior to getting the second, I don't know if that's true of if you're stuck with word one and then get to pick word two. I'm pretty sure you can reset it tho.
