Default Zeb Cook has left the building

Seems players aren't the only ones that get tired of MMOs, Zeb Cook left. Wonder if he was just brought in to create buzz or what.

I'd piss on Jack's desk, then I'd leave.

Now that I look at it, it was, and I apologize, but it does have a bit of truth. I'm so disappointed in Cryptic at the current moment.

Errr....that's not a good sign . Mind you, running an MMO in general may just have gotten to him.

Well, no way to know for sure, but it always could have just been "come on board til the game is released" kind of deal from the beginning.

Yeah I agree. The main villain content and backstory is done now. Since powers/pvp/bases are all done by the main team, there is really nothing else for the villains designer to do...

Then again, it could've been all over money and they couldn't reach a compromise. Profit you know. He may have just walked out on them.

Exactly what was Zeb Cook's role as Lord Recluse? As lead designer, exactly how responsible was he for what went on in CoV?

I know that Rick Dakan had some some preliminary work for CoV and that Sean Michael Fish (I think) and Statesman also did quite a bit... makes me wonder if he was actually leading design or just a glorified administrator.

Zeb worked on the look/feel of the rogue isles, writing the backstories for each zone, basically creating the setting, he was working under statesman who basically signed off on the stuff.
