Villainous Pet Peeves - City of Heroes Forums

Well, my heroic pet peeves was a popular ranting thread, and I had some villainous ones so I decided to make this. Use it for gropes about CoV, Comic Book Villains, or even villains from other games.

I'll start it off with my main CoV pet peeve. I hate how you have to take ferry's almost everywhere, but every ferry only goes to a single island. I mean in CoH you get the tram which is on a track so only certain ones at a time which was just limiting enough, but the pretty much one island at a time in level order is annoying as hell, especially since you may have to go all the way back to Mercy are something from the top. I thought they could've used the Arachnos ships for more then what it is right now in Mercy of like switching map server (though the one in the other base does go to Cap Au Diable) I was hoping that they could use that like a tram, and limit the zones to go to by "fuel". Anyways, thats just my opinion.

Actually, they do have something like the Tram. Look on your map, it's hard to see, but there's an Arachnos heliport that'll take you to different spots.

I've seen that, and I think thats what I was referring too, but I thought that also only went to one zone as well, just not the same one as the ferry.

Ok... You know what really Irks me?

Villain Groups.

Super heroes form Supergroups.
So wouldn't Super Villains Form Supergroups too?

If we call groups of villains a Villain Group, shouldn't we call groups of heroes Hero Groups?

So Why do people correct me when i say I'm making a Super Group in CoV? It IS a super group... a Super Villain Group.

Also some ferries take you to multiple places.

i hate how everyone thnks because they are villains they all have to be immature assholes.

Heh. I don't pay them any mind. They're usually about as villainous as a Chia pet with kudzu.

But the players who play their villains with that coldly intelligent, methodical, analytical, detached, Hannibal-Lecteresque malignance...those are the villains you have to watch.
