Saw the movie today. Extremely cool! It starts a bit slow, getting the team together, but once it gets going, it doesn't stop. An absolute blast, the fighting scenes are awesome and there are some fantastic laughs. Can't wait to see it again!

And make sure to watch the "secret" credits scene! Avengers 2 is going to be infinitely better!

Man, my brother wants to wait another 2 weeks after release so we can get good seats and not fight the crowd... I'm hoping I can be patience enough.

Just came back watching this in english. Funny funny funny film. You really don't have to be a superhero fan and be in touch with the Marvel Universe but it surely helps.

Poison's 1st Spoiler was really THE best scene in the whole film. The whole audiance applauded.

But I cry for the (named) victim of Loki. I kinda liked him/her.

Loved it. But...

There was too much sitcom humour in the movie. (Every character in the movie with the exception of Nick Fury had Xander's sense of humour from Buffy.) I appreciate that this film was made for children, but when the only way to make anyone take the plot serious was to kill someone off, then your script has issues.

It was also annoying that Buffy was in the film. Yes I know they called her "Black Widow", but I was expecting to see a film that focused on the avengers. She got far too much screen time for a backup character. She tricked the God of trickery, outsmarted Bruce Banner, survives being attacked by the Hulk, gave Hawkeye a beatdown like it was nothing, relegated Captain America to back-up dancer in the final scene by being the one to figure out how to save the world, and was the only character in the entire movie that was shown to be completely flawless.

I don't think Cap was relegated to back-up dancer whatsoever. He called the entire final battle.

(btw I realize it's not out in North America yet - I'm seeing it Friday back to back viewings however there is a bootlegged version online and I've peeped it about 3 times since the weekend)
