Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
Stumbled across this earlier this afternoon.
Quote:
Activision Publishing, Inc. and Marvel Entertainment have released the first details of "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions," the newest entry of non-stop heroic action to star the iconic wall-crawler. The video game is scheduled for release in September 2010 and will allow players to travel through four different worlds as distinctly different versions of Spider-Man from four universes across Marvel lore, two of which are announced today: "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "Spider-Man Noir."
As Spider-Man, players will experience a wide variety of gameplay and dramatic environments. "The Amazing Spider-Man" experience delivers innovative web combat and visuals in a world that pays tribute to the classic era of the legendary Super Hero. In contrast, "Spider-Man Noir" features a cunning and covert depiction of Spider-Man, who utilizes shadows to perform stealth takedowns in a 1930's-influenced, black-and-white cinematic environment.

Ehh, Spider-Man noir was one of the weakest Noir stories but I do love Spider-Man

Agree with 2099. Gonna' say 1602 instead of Manga though.

I liked the manga, but only the stuff that came out in the seventies, since it was so different than regular Peter Parker.
Although, the Japanese TV show from the seventies was still even more different. I like giant Mechs, but I think that particular genre would put-off many Spider-Man fans; not me, but I can see it not being popular.

Spidey 2099 would be a lot of fun. He was one of the only 2099 characters I actually liked. Maybe a chance for some Exiles cameos too? Doubtful, but it'd be badass.
And 1602 would only be cool if they somehow used the "Thwippe!" sound-effect, lol.

It was nice and their most popular 2099 title.
I tended to like Doom 2099, because it is one of the few titles starring a villain.
