Has Positron made the ban-hammer fall?
I just read a post from a certain online forum that says Positron is currently banning "Lots" of players that took advantage of farming. I normally do not visit the CoH official forums, so I don't know what, if anything is going on.
Judging from the lack of reaction over here, it does not seem like much is going on. It seems these posters are just blowing so much smoke. Has Positron's threat been handed down or not? (None of my characters have been banned, but I didn't do as much farming as other players).

They didn't define "egregious" abuse and you wouldnt be reprimanded for it. I understand they were looking for the powergame monsters, as in the 1-50 in 3 hours guys or the account-full-of-50s-in-a-weekend guys. You know, guys you wouldn't find here..

Yeah, that is what I thought.
It is kinda weird, yet sad. I see posters from that "certain online" forum and they are laughing; overeacting at this with little info. I then skim a post on the CoH forums about the upcoming competition game and I also see some acted yawns of people who mostly have not even played in Beta yet. I think I am tiring of uninformed fanboi wars...

I was teaming with someboby earlier this week who was veritably freaking out that his guild leader got banned because of MA abuse.
So, it seems to be happening - serves them right. /em self-righteous RPer nod

I don't think I've ever seen any sign of it. Of course, we would not be told if anyone was banned, that's just the way it is. I think if it was widespread, though, we would notice it.

Im trying to make a solo scrapper that will be easy to level, what would you suggest and could you please give me a guide, i have a large budget (around 500-600 mil)
What character would you suggest to solo 1-50 with if you were going to? What character is best to farm with at 50? |

The most efficient farmers are good with navigation. I'd say you should quit while you're ahead.
