Think of Yourself
Possibly three or five years ago today, my cousin Karl was getting a ride to school from a fellow classmate. He’s never been fond of the woman, as she is even more slowly witted than he is. They usually rise together for convenience, and that day was no different. Only Karl could not take the crappy music this lady constantly had playing in her car. Hip hop, rap, country, and every horrible genre you could think of.
Once more, he found himself trying to put up with it. He couldn’t concentrate; it was driving him mad! The girl was going on about some guy she’s interested in, and how she’s too shy to call him, but Karl was only half-paying attention. He couldn’t take hearing her drone on and on while failing to tolerate the music. Finally, Karl cut her off mid-sentence. “How about this!?! You call him, ask him out, and if he says no, you can continue listening to this radio station. But if he says yes, I can listen to whatever I want.” She did call, and she asked the fellow for a date. “Um.. Uhh.. Sure” was what Karl clearly heard come from a guy’s voice, and he happily changed the radio station, getting what he wanted. Today, the couple, which newly formed due to Karl’s impatience and selfishness, got married. Congratulations to the happy couple!

LOL! Great story!
There are many such stories in life than people realize. Heck, when I was in Middle School, I met a long time friend not because I wanted to make friends, but because he was flying a cool chinese paper kite and I simply/greedily wanted to know where he got it.
