Default Video Card Q.

Ok, this is an extension - sorta - of my previous thread. I think I *may* have figured out part of my problem. I may have a video card that is working somewhat finiky. My new laptop has a 128mb ATI Mobility Radeon Xpress 200M series in it. I know COH runs with my ATI Radeon cards, but I didn't see any of their notebook PC ones listed. Perhaps thisis my problem?

And if it is am I basically screwed or is there any way to circumvent the problem?

See if it supports openGL (which it should) If so, you can get it to work.

Open GL is what COH is programmed in. New and fancy games like HL2 and Doom are programmed in Direct3D. OpenGL is a very old language (think voodoo 2) and COH was written in it for compatability. So unless your onboard card takes from the main memory COH *should* run which looking at what you wrote, the card has it's own memory.

Now next step, what does COH do when you try to run it? (it goes without saying that you update drivers and what not, but you already knew that, right?)
