Doomsday also evolved past supermans ability to beat him down, thankfully for Supes he has other tricks he can use (and did use in future fights). While juggs is a bad ass, he can not lay down the hurt like superman can, he can take it just as well, if not better, but there is nothing he can do to stop Doomsday, the fight would go on forever until eventually one of them collapses with exaustion, and since Doomsday has done it for potentially millions of years and torn through more people than anybody ever i have to say he pulls it out.. Juggs has been stopped by the Xmen on more than one occassion. Juggs is a major bad ass, but he isnt a force of nature on earth, if that was the case he would be much higher on the rest of the super heroes list of people who need to be stopped (prior to the depowering).
Doomsday wins this, its not even a contest in my opinion.

Okay, I'll not attempt to dissuade you from your opinion.
I just wanted to make sure we're all talking about Juggernaut at his full non-wussified power, just like we're talking about Doomsday prior to his becoming sentient, far less resilient incarnation that Superman later defeated single-handedly.

Keep it up and the next rolly-polly deathmatch will be set between a pair of gurus.
Anyhow, good call on the Juggernaut one-shot. Too few people give Juggs the credit he deserves since that whole depowered pansy hero routine he was pulling for awhile, but the real Juggernaut is back and demands respect!

Apparently my speech has given Juggy a power boost over Doomsday, too. When I first dropped in on the topic, Doomsday was winning 4 to 2. I voted and it was tied at 4 to 4. Now, Juggy's in the lead at 7 to 4, and it looks like he's just going to keep on going and going and going...
...because nothing stops the Juggernaut, bitches!

Heh, the had that Supes Juggy fight

I voted Juggs, only thing I'd have a question about is the speed thing (Which never plays a role in these slugfests). That whole Superman v. Doomsday fight supposedly took place at super speed, was apparently a blue, red, grey, and white blur.

I could play the Juggernaut. Hell, my best dream team with Capcom vs Marvel 2 consisted of Spiral, Juggernaut and Jill Valentine. Jill was there mostly to heal the other two, but I also used her against speedsters like Spider-Man. Spiral was my bag of tricks, and Juggernaut was my brute force. If one of them couldn't take somebody, chances were pretty good that someone else on my dream team could.
I really need to work Spiral into a Rolly-Polly Deathmatch one of these days....

I voted Doomsday because science would kick religion's ass.

I like Juggs, i like him infinately more than Doomsday, but he routinely gets bested by the X-men. Powerwise the x-men are not the top of the Marvel Universe. Doomsday has rolled over many people. Superman himself can no longer "beat him down" since doomsday has evolved beyond that. You guys are telling me that Juggernaut can put out more damage than superman?
Doomsday beat up Darkseid, one of the baddest guys in the DC universe, one who would wipe the floor with Juggernaut.

Yes. That's exactly right.
The Juggernaut. Who once or twice beat up the Hulk and maintains a power level comparable to him. The Hulk, who hammered the crap out of Superman in the pre-Amalgam crossovers and was beating Supes like a little blue piņata before Supes cheated, used his heat vision and brought a mountain tumbling down on him.
That's the Juggs we know.
Against an entire team of superhumans, Juggy's odds begin to falter. But in one-on-one combat, Juggy soars. Doomsday doesn't have a team backing him. Doomsday doesn't have psychic powers. Doomsday doesn't even have heat vision. Or mountains.
Doomsday...is doomed.

He's also the Juggernaut who got beaten by Hulk simply slapping him on the back.
Anyway, assuming we're starting with a 'fresh' Doomsday, Juggs would win the first few rounds as he's tougher than Doomsday right out of the gate (IMO). But, just because Doomsday is what he is, he'd keep coming back. Cain would literally run out of ways to kill him.
It ends one of two ways: Doomsday wins or it's a complete stalemate.
