I whole-heartedly agree with this. While I don't mind there being villain-specific zones, I wouldn't want them to be villain exclusive. Likewise, if every lowbie Hellion and Vahzilok can run around Atlas Park, its a real stretch of the imagination that my much more powerful villain can only pop in over there from time to time when running a mayhem mission... or if I decide to clean up my act a bit so I can work with the heroes as a rogue.

I also think that instead of co-op zones, the alignment system should be used to determine ability to work together. If you're a rogue or a vigilante, you should just have an option to flag yourself as on the hero or villain side at any given time... or skip the flag and consider those who walk between as being targets for both heroes and villains as well as potential teammates.

Calling it City of Heroes 2 would just consolidate everyone under the same game name, but it would be all about perspective. Think Gotham City... its had its share of heroes other than Batman and his associated circle of friends over the years, but its filled with villains too. Is it a city of heroes or a city of villains? It all depends on which side of the equation you want to look at it from. If you're a hero, its a city of villains waiting for justice to be brought to them. If you're a hero, its a city of Batman --and other heroes-- to watch out for. Its still just one city, and as a game I think City of Heroes 2 fits better while maintaining name association that people can look at and say, "They've been around for more than 8 years!"

Too true. I think City of Heroes 2 is just fine as a name. Just because the game is focused on one city doesn't mean that game play has to be limited to there only... the whole world (and beyond, maybe a lunar zone finally?) should have super hero/villain battles to be fought. The City of Heroes is just everybody's favorite staging area... kind of like how even though there are other prominent locations in Marvel Comics, New York City seems to be where most super people are drawn to.

Sure, I guess. Nothing was really created, though, besides a new legal entity. It was essentially a transfer of human resources from Cryptic to NCSoft.
