I dunno'. They nixed the Jessica Jones/Luke Cage series, which I was actually really excited about and could've very easily been a lower-budget intro to the Movie Avengers Universe. I still hope they reconsider the idea.

Marvel movies can do no wrong these days. DC, on the other hand, now that Batman has wrapped up can't seem to get anything right. Marvel re-signs Joss Whedon for Avnegers 2 and DC might sign Ben Affleck to direct the Justice League. Where's the justice in that?

I hope it is SHIELD and willing to bet it will be. SHIELD is easy to do and opens up lots of story opportunites and can appeal to a wider audience. They could have cameos from different heroes and do everything from the supernatural to more alien threats. They can avoid having to get Samuel L. Jackson by making it about a small elite SHIELD squad.

I bet they would get Jackson for the pilot... and then maybe have him make occasional cameos to maintain his presence in the show without having to go over budget by having a big Hollywood star in every episode.

Hilarious AVENGERS Subtitles for Chinese Bootleg DVD's

Chinese DVD bootleggers took it upon themselves to translate The Avengers in English... the result is hilariously awesome. Thanks to Gamma Squad we have some screenshots from some of the scenes of the bootleg DVD, that I'm sure you'll enjoy. I love how they call Loki "Rocky." Check 'em out!
