I've just realised I skipped 2) in that post. I was either very tired or I wrote a '2)' and, inexplicably, decided I actually enjoyed that thing which I previously thought I hated which I can't even remember the details of.

I liked SM3 as well but it was definitely the weakest of the bunch. IMO, the main problems were poor editing and pacing. Plus I just have a hard time buying the skinny kid from That 70's Show as Eddie Brock. And I didn't like how JJ Jameson was regulated to comic relief. But the action sequences were just as cool as they were in any other Raimi SM movie.

Sony is planning a sequel already for this movie, set to release in 2014.

Are you ****ing with me?!?!

Well, either the test-audiences are VERY POSITIVE about the new Spider-Man or somebody's market research is VERY WRONG.

It actually could go either way, because Corporations/Studios rely TOO MUCH on market research and it HAS bitten them in the ass in the past!

Always a new crop who doesn't learn from past mistakes. Hell, let robots bake cakes with planned and never varying ingredients and see how long people buy your cakes (not too long).

I'm sure they are planning that so they could justify signing multiple-picture deals with the actorsd, ensuring that they have a constant cast. They're also most likely banking on the fact that the previous films were all (relatively) successful.

I didn't notice Emma Stone was in this.

Now I have another (two) reasons to go.

That trailer looked amazing. No pun intended.

I didn't like it for some reason. No idea why.

Oh god, am I cynical now? God damn it.

I smiled all the way through the First RMi movie, couldn't believe we got that good a hero movie, this trailer gave the same smile. I'm hopeful now; this, like last year's First Class, may be much better then I suspected.

I have the first movie Collector's Edition I loved it so much. This trailer continues my high hopes, though I will say I wasn't sold on his quipping with the bad guy in the car. They said they were gonna have more of that and I hope they just used that one to save the actually really good ones for the movie
