i agree that it is likely he will be confirmed as the director, but until Marvel Studios or Joss confirms it, it's still rumor.

There is a rumor that Iron Man 2 will have a post credits easter egg scene like IM1 had. The easter egg is supposed to be about the Avengers.

That would be cool. Maybe Nick Fury introducing Tony to Bruce (on the SHIELD Hellicarrier, of course). And having Bruce do a quick "demonstration" of his power.
