With the new changes to Hamidon in Issue 9 making it much easier for smaller groups to take on the large blob, anyone here thinking we should give it a go? Perhaps we could schedule a day in the week that fits everyone's schedules, and have a "Hami Raid Night" every week. I personally think it'll help with activity and give the group a better sense of community. Now, getting enough 45-50s is another story. :p

I'm game. But also, I want to see another attempt on that Strike Force. And not only because I'm the right level now.

I'd be up for bringing Mr. Mud to help MiW out. :)

Yeah If you can make a Pirate & Ninja duo go from 22 to 45......

Do you have enough people in MiW to Raid Hami alone? If not I can round up a few in the Rogue Knights when that day comes.

I think we only have five 45+ people.

lol, "only"? The max is 50, meaning that you could get by with quite a bit under that.

That's fine according to Geko :)

I hear that 6 is optimal. Remember, the comparative difficulty goes into overdrive for teams of 7 or 8. :p

Sorry, I misread that. Thought you said "I think we only have 45+ people" implying with the "only" that 45 wouldn't be enough to do it. :p

I don't think that applies for Hamidon Raids since they aren't "instanced".

Grae, when Wids uses one of the following smileys: :D :p :shinner: >:] you can almost gaurantee he's being satirical. Although shinner is more Malibu Sally's trademark.
Anyway, even if MiW can't muster the 50s needed, Rogues Gallery will bring a team of level 50s to assist. Plus, if you count in the few we can get from The Orthodoxy and the Rogue Knights, we should be fine to hold a Guru raid. :)

I was absent that day in Guru 101 when we went over Widowed behavior. Need the notes, you got'em? :)

Sure I do. I keep them in a dark hole right underneath my tailbone. Want 'em? :shinner:
I could swear that the Hamidon was going to be instanced in some Villain thingie or another. Or are they sticking Hammy in some zone somewhere?

Definitely can't forget about Wids' trademark  smiley either. :P

It is remaining a accessible zone but caps at 50 characters. There is still alot of arguement on the official boards over whether this is a good idea or not.

Hamidon spawns in a new villain only zone called the Abyss where it looks like Crey cloned him and then got butt-reamed by their hubris.

Ah, gotcha. MY GOD PEOPLE, WE NEED 25 CORRUPTORS AND 25 STONE BRUTES!!!111oneoneone. :D
Anyways, Certifiable (level 46) and Nuclear Dragon (level 47) can help beat up cloned jello.

I think a lot. :P
And I don't see what's wrong with capping the server at 50 people. If you can't do it with 50 people, you probably can't do it at all.
I wish I could have gotten better screenshots of that Vernon von Grun mission where you have to break into a Crey lab and talk to a Hamidon glob. It didn't help that the vat containing the Hamidon globule thingie was half-buried in a wall when Bloodywedd found it. :(

I think some wanted the Hamidon Raid to be instanced, possibly accessed to the underused supergroup base computers. If it were instanced, it would reduce the possibility for being griefed.

I could get behind something which involves the Oracles and Mission Computers. After all, the Cathedral of Pain was a stillborn flop, and one Strike Force for a somewhat costly computer is kind of a rip-off.

Certifiable has started Vernon's missions. The last I did was to break into a Council lair and steal something.
