Here's the Story:
I'm headed to Phoenix AZ from Philly PA in less than two weeks to attend a Military Brats Conference. Fly in late March 31st, Fly out late April 2nd. Bascially this is one giant micro adventure, and I need advice on Food and Sights in both places. If you had less than 24 hrs in Phoenix or Philly, where would you go?!?!

Phoenix

Sights

Philly

Realisticly I can only go to one or two places and am trying to keep a budget of $100 per day with out a car 100% solo. Any and all advice would be highly welcome.

So...I guess hookers and drugs are out?

Uh big cities, where will you be?

Philly Eat at Pat's Cheesesteak, find the damn Cracked Bell or Constitution Hall (MAYBE the Rocky Statue)

Phoenix I don't know I live here, its all kinda the same. If you get north go to Carefree and look at the rich people living on the rock and eat at the Horney Toad or the Satisfied Frog. There is also a huge, but cool (for 1 visit if your a guy) flea market up there.

Mexcian is this little grocery store by chandler mall you'll never find called Espanoza's (I think).

Chicks, the Library near campus on Mill, although you've probably seen a lot of campus villages.

You can also find Alice Cooper's place (Cooperstown) on the internet.

Rawhide for touristy, but tasty, steaks in a old mining down. I forget the name of the place on Pinacle Peak where the bikers go and they cut off the ties. There is also a theme BBQ out on Dynamite that is good steaks and ribs in a chuck wagon kinda setting. Other then that we have a lot of 3 and 4 star resturants around town cause of the retirement cash.
