So, as I try and work on scholarship applications and slip further and further into boredom, a random thought entered my head. I've been with this community, in any of its forms, for a very very long time. In fact, it's been such a long time that I've been able to make some real good memories with the people here and from the game that we all shared.

Good memories:

My first time seeing a Fifth Column guy turn into a werewolf. Freaked me the *alternative swear word* out.
First time in a Circle of Thorns Base
First time in Dark Astoria/Faultline
Super Jumping for the first time.
Original Omega Force and our first rp (My first SG)
My few What If Stories
The very first debate forum and the really good debates that went on
My first show for Radio Guru (Now Radio FTW)

Those are just a few that come to mind.

Hehe, yea. Between my Yin and Wid's married in a trailer park and your kindergarten mischief session. It was a laugh and a half.

My first time meeting Quake through a buddy of mine and being like "WOW!! You're a lvl 20? that's sooooooo cool!!"

First time in Prez Park hunting hydras which was fun I also think it was one of the first times I met Quake.

Running with my friend Resp and his crew, who no longer play but they were lots of fun to hang out in the game with.

Racing Quake to see if Teleport or Superspeed was really faster.

Hitting lvl 50 on DAH cause it was on my b-day :D

My first party in Virtue the JLU/JLA dress up party!!

Well, I think there are alotta memories, but can't coelesce the improtant ones atm, but they will come to me.

Actually, a bit of a downer from one of your posts, the Rikti invasion was a good memory. I was on Pinnacle at the time and my character, being from outer space, was screaming at the commander over the zone about him being his brother. I still have that character, with name...on ALL servers. ;p

A few of the ragdoll incidents were pretty funny.

The old debates forum rocked. If only Bugbite were around more often... (or even Xan, if we could get the drunken clod back in here! :p ).

It's been fun. Must admit, Beta still tops it, but I am trying to find fun here where and whenever. :)

Yeah, I did that with a friend of mine, I have superspeed, he had teleport, whipped his ass. :chuckle:

I remember when playing beta, I forgot to take the speed power pool at level 6, so had to take it at 8 which means I didn't get superspeed until level 16. Then I wanted to test how fast it was by taking my level 16 toon into Independence Port and ran him around the zone.

The Rikti invasion in beta on the last weekend before it went live. I remember after having just gotten on my friend sending me a tell that he kept getting killed by Rikti everywhere he went and me telling him to go fight something else then. His reply "There ISN'T anything else." Yeah, Rikti were everywhere, and the devs were playing some of them.

Shortly after the game came out, I was playing on Chain Lightning and got recognized by someone at the tram in Steel Canyon. He knew my toon from the website of my SG that I had been in since pre-beta days. He said "It's like meeting someone famous". That blew my mind.

The guru meet and greet parties in Atlas Park on Saturday afternoons. I only made it to a few, but its where I first met a loit of our community in game.

Making level 50 on Chain, and missing my screenshot of the 'fireworks' because I was knocked off the roof of the building. (Bad planning on the part of the person I was teaming with who had the plan of "You stand here, I'll kill them and then all you have to do is take the screenie when you level"

Back in Beta when the clockwork bosses, cannon and tesla princes used to look like the same small sprocket clockworks now, and then seeing the new and improved hulking models in the missions. I quickly backed up my toon going "OH S--T!"
