Transformers : Play as Autobot or Decepticon in what I call City of Heroes meets Auto Assault. Kick humans and get high on energon as a Decepticon or fight for the matrix as an Autobot, with various job classes and vehicle types, jet, military, animal, construction, recreational, and more

Spaceballs The MMORPG! : Nuff Said :P

Blade Runner

Vampire the Masqurade

Exosquad

Well, I'm still looking forward to Star Trek Online and will probably try it. If it was what *I* wanted, though, it would feature players as a starship crew having to work cooperatively to pilot the ship. I don't know whether it would work or not, but it sure would be a cool new concept.

I also REALLY REALLY want to see a Giant Robot MMO. Not like Battletech, which is what I think Statesman has talked about in the past. No, true Anime Giant Robots, like Grandizer, Voltron, Getter Robo and Great Mazinga. The 20 story ones, that step on the ones from Battletech and leave them as a little spot on their metal boots.

Vampire: The Masquerade (Yeah, me too!)
Wraith: The Oblivion (Vampire's third sibling. Choose the manner of your death and customize the resulting wraith's appearance. Master the Arcanoi and develop your wraith's supernatural powers over the living Skinlands and afterlife in the Shadowlands; Possess living vessels, quicken inanimate objects, weave grand phantasmal illusions, craft your ghostly body into various alternate forms, and more. Translate yourself into the Skinlands to deal with the mortals, rekindle old loves and settle unfinished business (but take care not to violate the Dictum Mortuum, the code through which the Restless Dead must conceal themselves from the living). Determine your allegiances among the authoritarian Hierarchy, the anarchic Renegades and the religiously driven Heretics through the course of your actions. Grapple with your Shadow--the enemy within--as you fend off the predations of the spectres and other agents of Oblivion; Surrender to your darker impulses one too many times and you may find yourself in the grip of Catharsis, relinquishing control of yourself to your dark side and facing whatever crimes your Shadow committed afterwards. Navigate the chaotic Tempest and brave its dangers to travel among the grand necropolis Stygia and other locales within the Shadowlands, perhaps even the enigmatic Far Shores from which few return. Plunge into the Labyrinth if you dare and strike at the very heart of the Oblivion. Grow great enough in power and control and you can return to your corpse, animate it, restore it to its original state and inhabit it to walk among the living as one of the Risen.)

Leisure Suit Larry the MMO. :)

Supposedly there is an MMO in that kind of genre in the works by a company called Naughty America. Personally I don't quite see the point of playing a computer game with someone across the planet where the whole point is to get your rocks off when you could just as easily go to a bar and get the real thing. Now that's not to say that those sort of games aren't fun single player, but with it being an mmo it kind of really puts things into perspective when your "virtual" sex life is better than your real one.

The top two "intellectual properties I'd like to see as MMOs" are already being made: World of Darkness Online and Warhammer: 40K Online. The third is GTA Online, which I'm not holding my breath for.

I do have my own idea for an MMO with an Urban Steampunk setting, which I'd LOVE to see someone pick up one day.

That's pretty much the problem. If you could go to a bar and get the real thing, you wouldn't need the Internet. :D

At least in the role playing world you can be one of those sleazy bad boys that women are inexplicably drawn to.

It could be that there is one MMOG with an underlying "get laid" quest already. Or does SeduCity count?

Dude I want to see Shadowrun as and MMO. It's got all kinds of races, a rich and detailed backstory, a big world to explore and it's....are you ready for this?.....it's...CYBERPUNK!!!!! I'm itching to play a good cyberpunk game heh.

unfortunatly Microsux took the Shadowrun game license and **** all over it making thei game a FPS  talk adout a huge mistake!

Anyway Shadowrun would become as big as WoW if it was done correctly but then again when has Microsux ever done anything right :P

Definately a full fleged zombie MMO, i could go on for a while with ideas about it, me and a buddy spent a whole night geeking out talking about it one day at work. If we had money and the ability to present it and work on it with a real company it woulda been really good, we had that thing very flushed out. Maybe someday someone will do the zombie genre justice

Well, Star Trek is in the works, I'm looking forward to that.

Pokemon would make a good game, though they would have to have some serious chat filters in place for all the kids.

Ghostbusters would be awesome!

For all those that would like to see Vampire the Masquarade made into any form of game, don't hold your breath. White Wolf doesn't make that game anymore, it's now Vampire the Requiem (which I like better, but I think I'm in the minority on this board as far as that goes).

Well, since CCP and White Wolf merged, we know that a World of Darkness MMO is in the works. The key here is that it's World of Darkness, not just Vampire. Since it's obviously not going to be the old World of Darkness, it's probably going to be Vampire: The Requiem, Werewolf: The Forsaken, and Mage: The Awakening. If that is the case, then the game will pwn so hard it will break you in half.

Besides, I don't mind the new World of Darkness at all. It will probably make a better MMO then the oWoD would have, anyway.

Exanimus is all us zombie fans have to look forward to MMO wise, and it's not moving along very fast. It would be nice to have a zombie MMO, always like the zombie situation.. being surrounded by mass amounts of flesh eating monsters and having to stick together whether you like it or not.

Promethean: The Created (http://www.cohguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9819) is the only new WoD title that's worth my time. :p

Oooh, there we go! Promethean: The MMOG. Or we can simplify it into Frankenstein: The MMOG. The secrets of restoring life to patchwork corpses have been leaked, and now the modern world is awash in a new subspecies: Frankenstein creatures. Play one of these bad boys and decide which faction you will join: The forgiving ones who would revere and preserve mankind or the vengeful and spiteful ones who would destroy mankind. Confront angry mobs, paranormal investigators, bounty hunters, enemy Frankensteins and other minions of the supernatural. Seek friends among the open-minded. Upgrade yourself by replacing your older and weaker body parts with stronger or better parts salvaged from the corpses of once-stronger enemies, anything from stronger limbs to extra limbs to redundant organ systems. Establish a lair in which to seclude yourself and seek refuge from a hostile, unwelcoming world.

How does that sound? :)

Ghostbusters would be rad, I'd love to see them do something with that, but knowing that Sony owns the rights to it means it would come out crappy.

I'd like to see a Pokemon MMO, Zelda MMO and I still think Star Trek would be hilarious to yell the usual, "Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor not a _____"

Zelda's way too main-character centered to be a MMO.

Also, Dead Rising was hella fun.

I would like to see a Justice League Unlimited super hero MMO... based on the cartoon, not the comics. Hang out on the satellite and mingle with the regulars, get missions from the martian which pairs you up with those regulars and unlocks them as contacts to get missions from them later. That'd be fun, and it'd look distinctive from CoH and whatever the Marvel MMO looks like because characters would have that distinctive art style from the series.

Other ideas I'd like to see:
Venture Bros. - Choose a side, sorta good or could be more evil. Good guys get mixed up in misadventures with Doc & his crew, Dr. Orpheus, Mr. Impossible, Billy & White, or maybe something else... bad guys work for the Guild of Calamitous Intent and work against those guys, sabotaging labs or trying to acquire [insert interesting-sounding useless object here] before the good guys, etc. I just wanna meet Molotov Coktease. :)
Spy vs. Spy, from the old Mad Magazine comics. There is no good guys or bad guys, just enemies vs enemies. Pick a side, white or black... choose any name, it doesn't matter because names won't be displayed. Everyone will register in game as White Spy or Black Spy. The game is totally PvP.
Underworld - Werewolves vs Vampires... and maybe run into that hybrid fella, and who knows what else!
Mystery Men - Yes, another super hero MMO. Of course, powers will be exceptionally dull, but it could be played mostly for laughs.
Street Fighter - yeah, its about time this classic caught up to modern gaming. Pick a martial arts style, select your manuevers and build them up, wander around gaining experience by involving yourself in various street fights, tournaments, government/spy missions, and who knows what else. Allow PvP in duel mode only... you have to challenge or accept a challenge to battle another player, no free-for-alls or ganking. (The Street Fighter pen & paper RPG would make a good model for the skill building & combat system.)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer / Angel - Lots of potential for interesting character creation, good and evil... martial arts & weapon combat aplenty. With the ending of the Buffy series, anyone could potentially be a slayer... or make a vampire or other lesser demon. Work for the Watchers Council, Wolfram & Hart, or be an independant switching loyalties as you see fit.

I could probably think of more, but I'm a little distracted.
