Leonai - please forgive his exhuberance. Tark's the resident 12 year old and can get a bit carried away and put his foot in his mouth at times. ... Make that a lot. So, please bear with him as much as you can; he's young.

But in essence, I agree with what I think he was trying to get at. The majority of the original paragoncity.com community feels like they have been wrongly treated by OGaming ever since the corporation came in and purchased the domain and ergo, forums. There's a lot of pent-up anger and frustration here, largely because we've become a pretty tight-knit community over the years of following this game. Heck, I don't even play City of Heroes any more, but I still proudly consider myself a party of "PCity."

I would like to think your intentions are well, but time well have to be the judge of that. Unfortunately, I won't be able to find out as I don't intend on sticking around coh.ogaming.com any longer. With this round of changes and the core essence of the forum being torn out (community building features are being destroyed in favor of game discussion forums, or so we have been told), I feel this is no longer a home for me. There are many of us who have been a part of paragoncity.com since it first was created - and most of us feel the same way.

Personally I have invested a suprising ammount of emotional and physical energy seeing these forums become something great. From my point of view, all I've seen happen under OGaming's care is watch that work get slowly, but irrevokabley get torn away. I'm not going to sit here and gripe at you, but neither will I remain and watch it become some other souless, bland, typical game message boards.

Best of luck with what you're trying to do here, Leonai, but I don't plan on returning.

In my opinion.... I am here. I am now at THESE forums. I feel happier about being here, I finally ENJOY checking these forums, posting occasionally, etc. I didn't even post a form of goodbye on the other ones. I have no drive to. I just left, walked out, and let them alone. Once we all finally migrate over here, those forums will be very close to dead. And THAT will be my final word to them. That silence.

So that's my peice. Good riddance, OGaming. Let's just enjoy what we have here, and leave them to rot in silence.

Although the title of this thread isn't actually correct, I don't know where else to put this.

Well, there seems to be a bit of a conflict. Leonai is doing a good job on those forums. Too late, in my opinion, I'm here now, and not there, but whatever. The problem is that in various areas on both boards, they're each called PCity. I'm of the opinion that THIS is the real PCity, because PCity was (and is) its community, and the community was (and is) the people, and the people are now (for the most part) here, and not there. Yes, they have our old banners and other stuff, stuff which we made as a community and which I'd thus like to bring over here, but apparently we aren't allowed to do that (although there can be no valid legal reason behind that, but whatever). There's even been a problem with which board the PCity global chat channel points to (once again, I think it should all point to here, for the reasons above, but that's just me), and there's an IRC channel called #pcity linked from the oGaming site (for the same reason as the global chat, this bugs me, that should be our title, but...). I'm wondering what if anything is going to be done about this.
