So, I'm starting to consider to upgrade my graphics card. But I've never really done any hardware upgrading before (other than buying a brand new PC :D)

This is my specs atm:

XPS 600 (D12XP5)
Intel® Pentium® 4 Prosessor 640 with HT (3.20GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB cache)
Microsoft Operativ System Windows® XP Home Edition, SP2
2048MB Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz (2x1024MB)
Dual 256MB PCI-Express nVidia GeForce 6800 graphics cards
160GB (7200rpm) SATA Harddisk 8MB DataBurst™ cache
16x max. DVD+/-RW (Dual Layer) Drive
Sound Blaster Audigy™ 2 ZS, PCI Dolby Digital, 7.1 Speaker Support

And I'm thinking of buying this:

Just wondering if anyone had any reasons for getting/not getting this. Or any general insight ;)

You won't be getting the most out of it unless you're on DirectX 10, which means Vista, which means dual-core processing... it's a vicious snowball effect. The card will run awesome in Windows XP, but you'll likely need a much better power supply, which is a fucking hassle with Dell machines :/
