Okay, so, I like R/C Airplanes, but alas, i always get the short end of the stick when it comes to buying them, and they never work (malfunction, errors, not my fault, but the company wont replace!)So, we were about 800-900 dollars in broken airplanes, and then i went to the NRHSA in vegas, I bought the Tiger Wing, for only 70 dollars ho-sale, (199.99 retail) and, i flew it today... I woke myself up at 8:15, and we went to a big field, I taxied it around, floored it and got into the air! I learned the controls quickly, and i was dive bombing me and my dad, so, i started coming into us, and the sun was in my eyes! so, alas, i didn't know there was ground, and i couldn't pull up, and WHAAAM! The wing lost foam, but who cares! After a quick repair, i was up in the air again, but I lost my right turning! I had to take Huge banked turns, so i attempted my first landing, i got to about 35% throttle, got close to the ground, but i couldn't do it! I floored it and pulled up, and killed the engine and tried to glide down, but i went over the embankement and into the street! Fast thinking, i did a quick left hand 180, floored it and got into the bicycle lane. I took it up into the air one last time, to kill the engine more so, and i did a succesful crash-into-soft-grass landing, without breaking anything! I spent the rest of the time discharging the battery, and wow, this was one of the most fun things Ever! I can't wait until we glue the rear back in, fix the steering and go flying again! :cool:
