This memorial day thing (which isn't even up on the main page) is depressing. Like the Easter one I can never find any one else willing to join CoH which I hate because I need someone else to play with. Worse is I got out of school today so my chances of finding anyone is interested is gone. Curse you Statesman and your bad timing. :shakefist:

I have about a 90% chance of getting into the beta lotto.

I already have gotten 2 guys from school to play with me and 1 more is comg. :)

You can't get into beta anyways, you're not 18. There is an NDA you have to sign when you sign up for beta, and you've got to be 18 to do it.

Sucks, I know, but rules are rules.

yes, but if you have a older 20 year old brother who could co-sign for you...

I don't care, it's still against the rules. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they banned your NC account after finding out.

Personally, I think discussing this is even more out of line than discussing Powerleveling.

Come on Krypto they never find out. How many betas have you been in, and haven't they all asked age, and you signed up and they accepted you and never checked. If you give them a credit card number when they ask they are content.

1. That doesn't make it right. You are still breaking the NDA, and will get in some serious trouble if they DO find out. They don't take that stuff lightly.

2. I haven't been in any betas, so I wouldnt know.

Afraid that Krypto's got a point here guys. Let's keep the disscussion on the CoV Beta Slots announcements. No more talking about anything that could get someone in trouble in game. And he's right about it being wrong, and he' right about if they do find out you might have a chance of being banned from the game if even temporarily.

I was in beta, and I'm 17 years old. I flat out stated that I was underaged, but they didn't seem to have a problem with it. Hell they sent the Beta to me through my Account, where it clearly states I was born in 1987.

I think as long as you don't go around breaking the NDA, you'll be fine.

They have an obligation to inform you about the law, they dont have to enforce it.

The 18 thing is nothing more than a support argument they want to have in the court, just in case.
Kinda like jaywalking :P

They'll ban you from the forums without any reason during NDA period, so yeah I'd say don't blab a word about doing something against the NDA. The devs or moderators, or whoever decides who gets banned is not at all picky about it and is very trigger happy about it.
