I saw this a couple of weeks ago. I liked the character when she was part of HFH. I thought about picking it up as it looked pretty kick ass.

There's a massive surge of 70's characters getting back in the mainstream Marvel, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Ghost Rider, Spider-Woman, Daughters of the Dragon, Punisher etc. It's just how the market's playing out. (Not that I mind. I love, at least, the concept of these characters.)

This is a female character who is a martial artist--she seems to have ties to the Jade Pendant White Tiger, but I've not read it yet--two issues on order (and out for sale already..let you know when I get em ;) )

Guys that are writing today, that's who they were reading when they were kids. Wait a few more years and X-Force and the New Warriors (what few of them remain) will be back in vogue.

Yeah, but how many of the originals are still alive/available. You'd have to pull a whole lot of resurrection to get too many of the original characters, which is what I'm talking about.

Well, Namorita and Night Thrasher are the only 'originals' that bit it. Speedball's still kicking, Nova's doing his thing, Vance/Justice and Firestar are still floating around out there. Someone new could take up the Night Thrasher mantle (He had a sister, didn't he?), Namorita... Well... Hell if I know. Atlantean magic!

What about the little guy?! And by little, I mean Microbe. (I know he wasn't an original member, but he still didn't deserv to get offed.)

And we're already seeing some of it with Kirkman as well. He tried to revive Sleepwalker and the whole League of Losers bit were filled with 90's as well, right? And Cable and Deadpool are back as well. (It can be argued that they were never really gone, but still...)
