Well, I didn't come as my favorite god per say, but I felt like being a Kheld... so I made Ra, whom I know next to nothing about.... Bah, whatever.

I ALMOST made Ra myself. It just so happens that my initials are "R.A.", so to my family, calling me "Ra" is a running joke.

I was Thoth, Hermes, and Balder. Kurai was Ra. It was just a coincidence that we both did the "TNT" thing. (I mainly used it because "Hermes" was taken on my first try)

I like the pic of everyone sneaking up behind me. :D With Kurai gone, I was unable to view the Supergroup channel, so I wasn't able to speak except through local/broadcast. So I didn't know who was still around.

You'd expect Thoth to know they were there, though. :D

Kurai was the only one of us made Captain. I had a character in the SG, but I would have had to log out, log in as my other character, promote one of you to Captain, log back in as Thoth, and get invited. Not worth the trouble. :D

Next week, however, I plan to sit out the Tussle itself, so I will play co-host and take care of all the invites.

(I'm not sure if this is the "official" pronunciation, but I've always said it as "Hutch-i-la-pitch-i-li". Just say that three times fast and you'll know what I mean...)

[edit] I should probably add that my idea for Hermes' bio came mainly from the fact that I couldn't make his winged hat, so I ended up giving him a more high tech-looking "football helmet" instead.

That's probably closer. There is more of an "o" sound in the fourth syllable, instead of an "i". I just remembered it a bit wrong.

I did that once. I had already upgraded my laptop's RAM to 512M, and bought another hoping 1G would make it run better. But 512M was the machine's limit. I bought a whole memory card for nothing... :D

Oddly enough, it was just perfect timing to blame for that pic. I was just angling the camera around to snap all three of us in one shot (and Sigyn was running in place for some reason), and then you said that. I wish I could have captioned that shot further.

I did, indeed, appear as Faunus and then actually play as Belerophon (the correct spelling having already been taken). The aerial dogfights were quite entertaining.

Killer Bee (my wife) participated as Divine Evil and then showed up at the end as Gaia TNT.

I'm curious to hear what you have in mind for Zombies, Kurai. I don't see enough facial options in the character creator to offer much variety.

Well, i made Sgt Hack (inv axe tanker) a sergant in the militia brought in to take down the zombie menace, he has his M-16, but preferrs to use his axe to a mamby pamby gun. a tailor made cocktail of combat drugs help him ignore the worst of the damage done to him.

the main story as to why he came back? he's just too ornery to stay dead.. the restless spirit brought him along, with fragments of his burial ground still stick to the corpse offering some protection... he lost his trusty axe (due mostly to being too dumb to figure out the sharp end) and has a spiky length of pipe instead.

I say we bring our zombie versions to the arena, so we don't have to wait for the second stage. (i can trust you guys not to "twink" your zombies.. can't I?)

Somewhat along the same lines, since I've been bringing in extra characters, I've been deleting the extra Inspirations if I use them on the first character. I think we can say that since EVERYONE is supposed to have two characters in this one, though, just use the Inspirations as normal.

So we had a Patient Zero situation. A contagious zombie was on the loose. And a raggedy band of survivors was dispatched to deal with the threat.

The first skirmish took place in an old office building. After a valiant struggle, Big Head fell to Zombie 01's relentless onslaught.

The two zombies then joined forces and brought down Safari Bob. The contagion was spreading. The desperate survivors were separated and scattered into two roving bands. Alas, the Blue Team was driven into the forest and separated further; Without Sewer Worker's protection, Saguaro Flower was the next to be pulled down.

The zombies then held the advantage of numbers, outnumbering their living opponents four to three. A sense of purpose seemed to bind the zombies and their movements, and even her superb training as an armed Hazard Control specialist couldn't shield Liz against a united assault from the undead.

Then outnumbered five to two, Sewer Worker and Sgt. Hack were tossed into a pitched battle from which Sewer Worker would not emerge alive. Sgt. Hack was last seen screaming furiously, hacking madly and standing atop a growing pile of corpses as the undead teemed around him....

And so the zombies, in the vague mimicries of sentience, celebrated their triumph and partied hardy. But then, after a few group photos and some breakdancing, the zombies decided that they didn't much like each other after all, and so they launched into a pitched battle for supremacy over the Walking Dead.

I just can't believe I screwed up the colors for HazContaminated's goggles. The frames should have been yellow just as they were with Liz, and the lenses were to be a bright green. I can't believe this somehow slipped past me. Maybe I was too distracted with trying to get the camo pattern color to match up with her skin color for that "contaminated" or "shredded hazard suit" look. At least I got that part right.... :(

I will probably go through this weekend and tidy up the pics, paste the group pics together and weed out the best of the game shots. Then come up with a nice list of captions for them so you know what's going on. I managed to catch about three of the five humans at the very moment they fell, so it nicely tells the story.

I will probably clear out that directory when I do, so if anyone wants to download the screenshots for their own use (D'Ark, for instance) go ahead and get them now.

I have no idea. I suggested to Sonic that we could do a "Blast From the Past" (aka. "All Hell Breaks Loose" or "Chaosorama" or whatever) theme, where we either dig up our own previous contestants (who ideally should have logged out of their Tussle in the Arena without seeing the light of day ever since) or faithfully rebuilding them from scratch. That way we could have GretchenGrundle versus Leon Homage versus Zombie Bob versus the Goldfinch versus Hermes versus Fluffy Darkness.... :D

Or does anyone have a better idea?

The Villains Tussle was indeed a blast. We finally got to try one with both SK and Burby (both Tussle virgins). Now if only we could get Alumette and Poison in there.... :)

Yeah... that Power thrust power in the energy secondary should be really useful. I know web grenade blows in pvp.(at least at the level we play at. had it this past Saturday. Slow animation, misses a lot, and you really have to hit twice to be effective)

Web Grenade is actually extremely useful in the Tussles. Remember that the alternative is either Power Thrust, or one of the immobilizes. Web Grenade immobilizes, slows rate of attack, and slows and kills jump for a considerable amount of time after it wears off. Of course, Power Thrust is also extremely useful. (And I got good results out of Chilblain)

Anyway, I can't believe I missed the Tussle again! Things just got so bad that I just completely forgot about it. I can't be there for the Saturday Skuffle, either, so it looks like I'll just have to try and catch the next Tussle.

Well, we already did junior versions of our heroes, so I sort of went with a sidekick design with both of them. Maybe I'll go with something a little less like the original, or come up with a sidekick based on someone else's hero. I'd do the female version, but I've already done that with JD and BD, and someone else did a female SR Scrapper that looked just like Bloodwolf...

I guess I'll have to think on it a while, nothing's coming to mind yet. :D

Gotta disagree with you there, Jade. With the way the tussle rules are set up, Web Grenade gets no enhancements. Against other players, it really takes TWO consecutive hits to really have any decent effect. It has slow animation and it eats MAJOR endurance.(Malibu Sally is a lvl. 44 dev blaster... even with Stamina 6 slotted, I can burn all my endurance just tossing web grenades. Yes, I've done that in big fights)

A blaster using Web Grenade in the tussle is asking for trouble.

Where it IS helpful is in regular arena matches with travel powers allowed. Web grenade is great for taking out flyers.

I figure I'll have to get Miss TNT up to at least level 14 to make her effective, though, as she'll need both Recall Friend and a travel power--Teleport would be the most efficient choice--as there would be several steps to the process:

1) The competing Villains emerge from Breakout, train with Arbiter Diaz and wait until the appointed start time of the Tussle...or perhaps a standard of ten minutes prior to the start time should be imposed before kicking off Step 2....
2) Ms. TNT Recalls all of the competitors from Fort Darwin to the ferry. If you miss the boat, you'll have to either wait till next week or suck up to me so I'll come back and get you after I get all of the prompt, timely and courteously punctual people to the arena first.
3) Ms. TNT and the competitors take the ferry to Port Oakes.
4) Ms. TNT chain-Teleports her way to the Port Oakes Arena.
5) Ms. TNT Recalls all of the competitors to the Port Oakes Arena once she get there.
6) Ms. TNT grabs an Observe-o-bot, watches the matches and keeps an ear open for the inevitable Johnny-come-lately sorts who arrive tardy. There's always a few.... :rolleyes:

Naturally, I'll have to get Ms. TNT to the Mercy Island side of the ferry before logging off with her, just so she's in position for the next Tussle. I should probably get her signed up with the Supergroup too, if there is one. Who handles that, anyway?

I get to bamf everyone there, I get to watch the fights (and possibly help judge as well) and I get to bamf anyone who wants to keep their Tussler for something more long-term back to Mercy Island.
