Irony in PVP...

Recently while running around in RV, I noticed a known jagoff Ice/EM tank spouting some nonsense about how he can kill anyone 1 on 1 in broadcast.

So naturally, I take up the challenge. He gets one look at me and says "No thanks, I don't fight against FOTMs". I was speechless... for about half a second.

I proceed to point out the irony of an Ice/EM tanker saying that ANYONE is FOTM and therefore cheesy, all the while ignoring his own FOTY status, which he responds by telling me that being that hard to kill makes it unchallenging to play with..

Again, floored. I point out that Ice tankers are the most difficult build to kill in the game, thanks to their escape button, to which he says that I need to learn how to play..

Wow.. Just... Wow.

Yoclant has to be without a doubt as just plain dense as D E A D - E Y E and all the others....

I can't help but laugh whenever I think of him though, the first time I remember seeing him in warburg. Me and icicles were flying around, and we saw him, We queried up build up and aim and dropped down and floored him while he was in the middle of saying in broadcast allright someone try to kill me.

That tough little ice tank went down in about 4 seconds flat.

This moron followed me and couple others around on a nuke quest in warburg. Just stood there, then attacked at the most inoppertune times. Didn't say a word, just waited. One of the players on the team was a relative noob and kept saying "Whats he want, whys he doing that" Really should take a bounty group after him sometime, just 8 folks and a learning plan.

The problem is, he has picked the perfect primary for his asstardary. Since he can't be slowed there are very few ways to keep him from just SSing off, and none that I can think of that don't get countered by break frees.

Then if you do happen to wail on him, he just hibernates and talks trash about how weak you are for not being able to kill him while he runs and hibernates.

Even worse, he has some inherent power that makes him immune to logic. You know, logical statements like "Tanks are supposed to be hard to kill", or like "you can't really kill anyone that won't stop and fight".

I wish I didn't have to build my personal fury bar before I could use that power.

As soon as i get my dom to 40 i'm going to go to RV and hold him a lot. If he whines that much about 1 dominator stacking holds on him, imagine what he'll say with 2.

I still think its funny that he couldnt kill my tp'ed and thus pet free MM, how sad...

Whats worse is that i nearly kill him and he pops inspirations instead of popping hibernate, how very sad....

He even was one of the reasons why my friend quit the villain group he was in becasue my friend inevitably talked back to the dud (the VG doesnt tolerate smack talk), now our little crew has a ->Vendetta<- against him because of the ass that is Yoclant.

I'll come too. Lemme know :P I wonder, if I found him hibernating and hit drain psyche, would it stop his regen? Or is he immune to the attack entirely?

So would the following work:

-Stack holds on someone
-They Hibernate
-You hit domination (easy to build on a hibernating tank)
-The holds you put on the target before they hibernated increase in magnitude
-The holds overcome the tanks mez defense
-Target is held

Does domination retroactively alter your holds magnitude though? If not then this idea won't work.

If you drain psyche someone then they hit hibernate, nothing happens except they lose end. It's rather amusing.
