I teamed with Imperial for the first time in the 2 years I have played this game and went into it skeptical. Let me explain. Alot of people on these boards talk up their concept builds and alot of people say if it ain't a Guru team its crap! Something I could not disagree with more.
I have not had the greatest luck on most of my primarily Guru teams in the past. Most of them end in multiple team wipes and name calling. I walk away with nothing really to show for it but debt. There are alot of good players here but there is also a good many who do not take the time to research a power or build. I will not apologize for being a min/maxer.
After reading alot of Imperial's RP and seeing that he is a mace tanker, I always figured "well, there is a good reason you are not 50 yet". I am happy to report I am dead wrong. I was thorughly impressed with Imperial's skill with his character and how effective he was in a team. Sure, we wiped a couple times but he was tanking +6s! Kudos Imperial you have definitely changed my opinion of some (still not all) concept builds and Inv/Mace tankers in general.

And the reason why he's not 50 yet is because he's busy scamming on the cast of the Golden Girls long after Bingo night.

Thanks for the kind words, Grae. I'll be the first to admit that for most of my game experience since beta I've been just that: an RPer with a concept build. It's only been a very recent development that I actually learn to be an effective tank.
I've still got a ways to go, but your compliment shows I'm starting to do something right. Thanks.

Well, in the words of that beloved philosopher of urban culture & postmodern thought, Akon:
smack that, all on the floor,
smack that, give me some more,
smack that, 'till you get sore
smack that, oooh.
LMAO!
How you just gonna quote Akon?! LOL! God! Hilarious.
I've teamed with Imp on a couple ocasions. I always stop what I'm doing to read his binds. Everything he does in game revolves around the development of his character. lol it's great. I find myself taking notes that I can use for both JP and Safe-Guard. It's a wonder why he hasn't been featured in the comic. Oh yeah...cause the comic BLOWS! *misses Blue King*
In my two years I've only teamed with a select few of you Gurus. Hell Poison had to make me a key so I would know who everyone is in the Guru Poster. :| Recently though that's started to change.
PUG more often than not can have their moments. But there are times when you find one that is gold. I've made a couple friends threw PUG. All in all....they're not that bad.

Last time I teamed with Imp. Mmmm, probably well over a year. Icon teaming was the best, at least back when we were on the Icons.

I think Sandy teamed with Impy for a while when he was doing his cape mission. We hunted some Rikti monkeys. :D I think it's kind of nice that there are still some folks around that have been around as long as I have, and haven't totally outstripped me in level. :D It's definately not lack of ability, some people just like hanging around at the lower levels.
I'll cheer for Impy when he gets to 50 tho.
Definatly cheer, I know Imp was rerolled a couple times. I think...?

3.... or 4 ;)
Let me try and remember.
1: Inv / Energy Tank, early teens
2: Inv / Mace Tank, level mid to upper 20s
3: Dark / Inv Scrapper, level 33
4: Inv / Mace Tank, currently at level 36 (and climbing!!)
Yep, that's four.

Wasn't it you who let your neighbor use your account one weekend, recomended Virtue and said "If there's not enough space, feel free to delete someone" and ended up with a new alt in the place of Imp?

Dorm Roomate. Sucka.
Imp needed to return to his Macey ways, anyhow.

Can't be any worse than my Fire/Stone tank, who got rerolled at 25 to...
Inv/Fire
Fire/Mace
Ice/Energy
Rad/Rad
BS/Regen
Spines/Regen (Stalker)
Robotics/Traps
MA/SR
Earth/Rad
And then settled on Fire/Energy... for now.

See, that's because you don't team with the cool people. PWN Squad > ALL. We kick ass, while joking around and having fun.

It's always great to team with the old man. His macros are entertaining yet dangerous. They take a while to read and put innocent civilains at risk. :p
*Wonders why there hasn't been a Kudos Major Supernova thread*
You can't question whether he's a concept character. For god's sake, I took Flurry! And I'll be taking Super Speed and Whirlwind.

He speaketh the truth, any time I've teamed with those guys it's been a friggin' blast.
I've never teamed with Imp, had a couple of Mace discussions with him, but nothing else, well maybe ...once we teamed.

I got you beat with G-Nome;
1: Inv / Stone, 20
2: Stone / Stone, Early teens
3: Stone / SS, 18 I think
4: Inv / SS, Almost to 20
5: Inv/Stone,at 22 currently and Climbing not so rapidly! All that to go back to where I started, which was my original conceptO_o
Good news is I'm sticking with it this time :sarcasm:
