Isn't it enough that one mod accused me of 'ragging on' another mod, a second one told me to read THREE other threads for an answer to a question, a third mod closed the thread and, after it was closed, a fourth mod saw fit to delete the original post in this thread (http://www.cohguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=854)?

Far be it from me to suggest that the mods must feel the need to exercise some sort of ethereal power on this board to counter whatever insecurities they have in their real lives.

I'm just a non-elite, independant thinker, after all.

I'm sorry, that was a mistake. I'll explain my stupidity.

Tsarmina PMed me asking the same question, this was my reply:

"I actually didn't mean to - this is a bit of an admin screw up right here.

I didn't notice the thread was locked - was going to throw my 0.02 in. I went to click "quote" and instead must have clicked "Edit." Anyway, in the process of typing out the message I wanted to put, I deleted his original message and put something else. When I clicked "submit," my message appeared in the original post.

So, I thought "Crap." Because, I knew there was no way I could get his original message back - and couldn't remember what it was. So I just edited it to be blank.

I admit fault here, and I do apologise.

Okay, I'm not sure about the deletion of your original post (thought it was quoted by that second mod), however, the pointing you to three other threads actually DID answer your question. Those threads were the long, drawn out processes that lead to the change of chat channels names.

I'd already decided not to quote you when I posted and deleted the quote. So, no, I tried that, and I'd already lost the original text.
