Xanatos said it was cool with him that I posted this here, so here it goes.

I just launched a new web site/blog called SuperHero Origins Blog. The site is for superhero origins only, written by people like us. :)

I think origins are one of the most interesting things about superheroes, so I wanted to devote a site to it.

I am in the process of trying to get more origins, so I can at least post an origin once a day on the site. So I need your origins!

Please check the site out and let me know what you think. There is a link on the right to e-mail me your origins. You could also post them here or post a link to where I can find yours.

I am hoping this could be a nice site where people can go and read some great writing and some interesting stories.

I have a half-finished origin for Jade Dragon and Blue Diamond, and I still want to write an origin for Bloodwolf and Sandy. I will probably do the latter first, since I do have the origin story for the ORIGINAL Crime Fighters on which CoH's J.D. and B.D. are based.

But I keep putting off all of them. I'm so lazy.... :D

If you'd like you could use Dog Fight's ongoing origin as filler for the days that you don't have an origin post, but you might want to get someone to edit it first O_o ... which reminds me... *starts digging out the next post*

I have posted the first part of Charon's Underworld. If you haven't read this yet, you really should. I really like the story. Just reading the first part pulls you in. I like how he has places we all know in the story, like The Gish in Kings Row and he even mentions other heroes.
Speaking of that, after reading the first episode, it would be nice to have some of the origins for the heroes he mentions, like Rotty and Yankee Daring for example.

Yankee disapeared just after Beta. He had a VERY good origin on the original Coh.com forums but I didn't save it so I don't have a copy.

A little update on the site.

I will be posting Charon's last episode tomorrow. Then I hope to post some Universe-M origins, starting with Unknown Soldier, which is Old Glory's character.
After that, I have one of the best origins I have ever read, by Coldcut. It is for his character named Code 4.

Then following that, I'm not sure at the moment. So if you know of any origins, please let me know. I'm still looking forward to the ones you guys are working on too.
Also, if you have a nice picture that goes with your origin, I can use it in the article.
For example, if you look at today's Charon episode, I have posted a picture with it.

Taking them out of context makes each of them read in a really disjointed fashion (i.e. see the various origins on Crey) where, when read in context, they're pretty good (or so I've been told).

I should have 2-3 of them done by Monday.

I have made a small change to the site.
It really needed some images of some type. So I thought I would feature an artist sometimes on the right area. That way it makes the site more attractive and it can show off some artwork too.

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the site has really slowed down. I came to a point where it was hard keeping it updated because I was running out of origins.

So if anyone knows where I can find any new origins that haven't been posted on the site, please let me know.
I would like to keep the site going if at all possible.

I am bringing my Superhero Origins website back from the dead. I have been writing a lot more these days, so this will give me a place to post those stories. I will not run out of content this way either, heh. By the way, I am now including any stories about superheroes, not just origins.

If you would like to submit a story to be posted on the site, please let me know where to find it or send it to me and I will be glad to post it. I always give credit to the person who writes the story of course. You guys have always been great supporters of the site and I appreciate that!
