I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but the forums in the Gallery section are more about fan art, instead of costume options. So I guess I'll just post it here. Most of you guys have probably already tried out the costume options as much as you wanted, so just ignore this. :D
On the global chat the other day, though, I was reminded of my character who was a clone of "Asterix", the French comic book character, and that I wanted to try him again once the sliders came out. I wasn't actually expecting to have enough freedom to create a character with a cartoon character's build. Once I got finished with him, though, I was pleasantly surprised as exactly what I could do. Surprised enough to want to share it with you guys, anyway. If you know what Asterix looks like, you'll be a step ahead, but hopefully even if you haven't, you'll get some of the idea.

The above image really captures his size. He's a small character, (I made him the minimum, 4' tall), and has got spindly arms and legs. When I originally created him, I gave him the "Athletic" build to try and make him look spindly. But of course he just looked tiny and skinny, he was still in the same proportions as a normal human. What I wanted was the big feet and hands of a cartoon character, but skinny arms and legs.
What I actually settled on was a bit of a compromise, but I think it works. First of all, I made his legs as short as possible, and then used the Baggy pants and Large boots size to make his lower body look stumpy. Then I brought his shoulders and chest in, but increased the size of his waist. Even though his arms are still kind of muscular, he still looks bottom heavy. The Robe also helps with the illusion, without it I was going to make his chest broader to make his arms look smaller, but the robe "smooths over" his build.
I wish I could have given him wings on his helmet, but for some reason wings are only available on full face helmets. I'm also happy with the robe, but I would have liked a better tunic. The mustache is nearly perfect, though. I'm pretty sure it's new, I do not remember it from before I4.
This leads me to where I was really impressed, though. In the links below, I show some closeups of his face. I couldn't duplicate the style of the comic book exactly, of course, but I think with the huge chin, and oversized nose, I created a look that is very distinctive, and captures the spirit of the character. I was pretty impressed that I was able to create a face that far away from human.
In short, that's a lot more flexibility than I was expecting. Maybe this will suggest to somebody a character they can create.
