List your least favorite comic artists and why you hate them!
I'll start.
Frank Quietly
I cant stand this guys art. He has the phenominal ability to make characters look 50 years older then they should be. His work with Grant Morrison on "New" X-Men early this century is atrocious, and I winse when I look at All Star Superman. He turned Jean Grey into a sexless grandma when she wore her hair up. Instantly added 40 years to her age.

I sort of like Quietly, but he's definitely an acquired taste.
And btw Dear Greg (http://images.comicbookresources.com/litg/20061023/marvel_artpolicy.jpg)...
I'm not a big fan of Jae Lee to be quite honest. His/her/whatever art feels very stilted and while I love spotting blacks Lee just doesn't do it well (contrairy to say, Mignola).
I'm not a big Jim Lee or Alex Ross fan either. Their stuff can look nice, but ultimately there's been no growth in their art the last 15 years and Lee still carry around some of the baggage from early Image and Ross' art can look very rigid and his pacing is off at times. It might not be as much not liking them as thinking they're not all that.
Rob Liefield - Needs to go to Kubert's School and learn to draw.
Jae Lee - He's much improved over his initial drawings. I have some of the Excalibur that he started on and it almost made me drop the book. Then he moved to Image and tried to ruin WildCATs. After that he disappeared for a bit but it looks like he took some art classes.
McFarlane - Can't stand him! His art is okay its the ego that's the problem.
Greg Land - Learn to draw! You need to draw not trace! You want a tracing job become an inker otherwise be original! And your originals need to be true to the age of the characters.
There are more. . .I'll have to think
Favorites: Alex Ross, Mike Mignola, Yanick, Jim Lee, Batt, the late Will Eisner and Jack Kirby.

Yeah McFarlane isn't high on my list either. Nor is Silverstri.
And about Jae Lee... I think David Aja does "sort of" does the same thing, but much much better.
So far, you guys have pretty much nailed my personal dislikes from an art viewpoint. Who was the fella that did Guardians of the Galaxy years ago, and then split with Image? I really can't put my finger on why I disliked the art so much, but there was just something cheesy about it.
Dale Keown- He draws viciously out of proportion. This makes him perfect for the Hulk however.
Rob Liefield- universally despised
Jim Balent- the pin-up king. So much talent, yet his only claim to fame is his penchant for well stacked babes.
My fav's are John Romita Jr, Joe Madureira, Ed McGuinness, Tim Sale, Frank Miller

Valentino did Guardians of the Galaxy at one point and given what I've seen from him, he should learn to use perspective.
And if I had to list all my favorites, Nobody would ever read my post because of sheer length. Here's a few that come to mind though: Sean Philips, Darwyn Cooke, Michael Lark, Paul Pope, Stuart Immonen, Tony Moore, J.H. Williams III, Cory Walker, Pasqual Ferry, Adrian Alphona, Chris Spouse and the list just goes on and on and on.
