Marvel Studios Production Slate with a little bit of comentary by me

Ghost Rider, Sony - In post-production, February 16, 2007 release
-Looks good, but could suck. Daredevil was a good movie when it came to the Directors cut, hopefully Ghost Rider will be a hit, and not a Strike

Spider-Man 3, Sony - In production, May 4, 2007 release
-All I can say is Bad ass. Nuff Said

Fantastic Four 2, Fox - In production, June 15, 2007 release
-Personally? I liked F4. It was a good Origin Story and a good take on everything....Cept for Doom. Doom could have done better(and from what I hear, he will do much better this time around) I look forward to see Galactus Play with his Happy Meal this summer

Iron Man, Marvel - Writer & director engaged, slated for May 2, 2008
-Cant say I'm excited for it yet, I need some Pictures of the Suit to get me pumped
The Incredible Hulk, Marvel - Writer and director engaged, slated for June 27, 2008 release
-Will Hulk Finally Smash? Only Time will tell, but getting rid of Ang Lee was the first step in the Right Direction. Sounds like Hulk Begins to me
Ant-Man, Marvel - Writer and director engaged
-This cant be good unless its an action comedy. Thats a no brainer. You cant put Antman Solo without comedy.
Captain America, Marvel - Writer engaged
-Indiana Jones meets Batman. Thats what we're gonna get. This is gonna be a good Thrillride with some Super Soldier action. I'm already pumped for this one
Nick Fury, Marvel - Writer engaged
-This will end up like James Bond, only in America, and Bond wont have sex appeal for women, and he'll have 1 eye....Either good or bad here folks
Thor, Marvel - Writer engaged
- My One problem with this movie is its really REALLY hard to cast anybody in the Roll of Thor. Thor is a Tall, Muscular man, with long blond hair, but he needs a warriors face, like the Lord of Asgard. Must be able to pull off a Beard, or no Beard. He must be an athlete, and be able to act aggressivly, while showing off some acting skill......and after I list these things, only 1 man comes to Mind.....WWE Superstar Triple H. He's the ONLY one I can think of who can pull off Thor. He can do an acsent, he can do agression. He's got the Look, Just needs a good director to direct him in the right way.
The Avengers, Marvel - Writer engaged
- This movie could be good or bad. Kal Penn is writing it so we know atleast we are getting Somthing. It'll be good, yeah, with a great Director making it great(Just look at X-Men 2) The movie just needs a Director. Kal knows the Material, but it needs a good director.

Black Panther, Cloak & Dagger, Doctor Strange, Hawkeye, Power Pack and Shang-Chi are other projects that may be developed by Marvel.
- Cant really care for any of these cept Powerpack will be like superbabies so it will suck. Doctor Strange will be good though. Cloak and Dagger and Black Panther can be good too. Dont know about Hawkeye being in a Solo Role. Maybe just throw him in the avengers. And Shang Chi? Well, Its been done before.

Licensed Marvel Character Film Development Pipeline (Partial List)
Wolverine, Fox - TBD
The Punisher 2, Lionsgate - TBD
Magneto, Fox - TBD
Namor, Universal - TBD
- Grouping these together. Wolverine could be really good if they go for that R. I hear its gonna be a Blend of Origin and Weapon X so you get a nice good Origin. Punisher 2 is going to be REAL good, Origin stories tend to lead to Awesomeness later. Magneto will be interesting. probably alot like Behind the Mask, the origin of Hannibal Lector. Namor can be either good or bad, Knowing Universal. It could be like Waterworld......Oh boy, we get to see Namor drink his own piss

Marvel Character Animated TV Projects in Development
Wolverine, First Serve Toonz (India) - 26, 30 minute episodes in development
- I see Marvel dropped the "and the X-Men" from the title. This could be good. If they kept the "and the X-men" it would make the X-Men seem like an afterthought, and they dont have to deliver X-Men all the time, this way they can stick with 1 Character and it could breed other Single X-men Shows. The Adventures of Kitty Pryde and Rachel Grey! The Nightcrawler! The Rogue!
Iron Man, Method Films (France) - 26, 30 minute episodes in development
- Could be good. Could be fun. Could also suck

Marvel Character Animated Direct-to-Video Projects in Development
Partnership with Lionsgate to develop, produce and distribute original animated DVD features. Titles include: Iron Man (scheduled for release in 2007) and Doctor Strange.
- they've been pretty good so far. we'll see what the future holds

Marvel Character Live Action TV Projects (Partial List)
Alter Ego, Moon Knight and Skrull Kill Krew in development.
- Alter Ego!? Skrull Kill Krew!? Holy SHit!!! SKK should be on HBO. that could be like the next Sopranos or somthing. Dayam. And Moon Knight is gonna be good

2007 Video Game Releases
Take-Two, Ghost Rider - Q1 2007
- eh, so far it sounds like a racing game. Meh
Konami, Marvel Vs. Card Game - Q1 2007
- I saw video for this and video told me "CRAP"
Activision, Spider-Man 3 - Q2 2007
- Considering what they did with USpiderman and Spiderman 2, This is gonna be as bad ass as bad ass can be!
Take-Two, Fantastic Four II - Q2 2007
- This however will probably suck as suck can be
Electronic Arts, Marvel Nemesis 2 - Q4 2007
EA.....what are you doing? Well...maybe they will take my advise. add 4player support, better combat, and get rid of the lame EA Created characters. I mean, Johnny Ohm? I want Cap, Hulk, and Hawkeye!
Activision, Spider-Man Trilogy - Q4 2007
- I have no idea what this is. it could be 1 game containing the story to all 3 Spidey movies, or a boxed set of all 3 games for next gen systems. who knows

Ghost Rider, Sony - In post-production, February 16, 2007 release

Will most likely suck horribly.

Spider-Man 3, Sony - In production, May 4, 2007 release

Great. I hope they kill off Mary Jane instead of Gwen Stacy though. I'd rather have Bryce Dallas Howard in the sequals than Kirsten Dunst.

Fantastic Four 2, Fox - In production, June 15, 2007 release

Was actually alright when I saw it. Wish they'd recast Alba though. Just not the right actress for the job.

Iron Man, Marvel - Writer & director engaged, slated for May 2, 2008

Pretty excited. Director is an actual comic book fan and knows his stuff.

The Incredible Hulk, Marvel - Writer and director engaged, slated for June 27, 2008 release

Ang Lee's Hulk wasn't bad enough to deem a new movie necessary. I'd rather have them redo Daredevil. That was utter shit.

Ant-Man, Marvel - Writer and director engaged

It's directed by Edgar Wright. How can it not be a great action comedy?

Captain America, Marvel - Writer engaged

Could be good, if they do it well. I'd like it to be a sort of action spythriller thing like the current book to be honest.

Nick Fury, Marvel - Writer engaged

Don't really see Nick as someone who can carry an entire movie. Pretty good supporting character though.

Thor, Marvel - Writer engaged

I love Thor, but I don't know how they're going about it. I have to admit I wouldn't mind a sort of mindfuck-thing like Ultimate Thor.

The Avengers, Marvel - Writer engaged

No. Just no. Teams consisting of established solo characters aren't going to go over well.

Black Panther, Cloak & Dagger, Doctor Strange, Hawkeye, Power Pack and Shang-Chi are other projects that may be developed by Marvel.

Black Panther could work well. I honestly can't see Cloak and Dagger being in a movie. They aren't that highprofile and sort of lame, unless used correctly. Dr. Strange could be good, but I hope they use the more psychedelic imagery Ditko used and not go for some standard magic stuff. Hawkeye isn't that interesting and doesn't have a good enough rogue gallery for a movie. Power Pack? No. Just no. Shang-Chi? I have no idea. More interested in a Heroes for Hire movie. I know we're getting a Luke Cage movie and an Ironfist movie, but they need to mix them together. And not fuck up the Jessica Jones role up too much. Which I fear they'll do in the Luke Cage movie.

Licensed Marvel Character Film Development Pipeline (Partial List)
Wolverine, Fox - TBD
The Punisher 2, Lionsgate - TBD
Magneto, Fox - TBD
Namor, Universal - TBD
Don't see how Namor can/should carry his own movie. He's a FF villain/supporting character. I'd rather see an Inhumans movie. Others will probably be good.

Spider-Man 3
This is the last SM the cast are contracted for. This will be the last one Raimi does as he stated in an interview. Hopefully he goes out with a bang. I read that Venom wasn't intended to be in it, but due to fan outcry the story was changed. I have a funny feeling we're going to be left at a cliffhanger. I can see Brock being put into jail or possibly the mental institute were......yup.....Cassidy! And then the movie ends....

The Incredible Hulk
Ang Lee's movie blew in my opinion, And I love my Hulk. The cinematography was rather corney, I hated it. And so did many of the fans which is why they ultimatly decided to go with a new movie and directer. Splitting the screen into sequencials, freezing the frame, come on. It was seriously rediculous, The movies are suposed to step away from the comic books and bring the characters into the real world. Horrible Idea it was to do sequencials.

I enjoyed seeing Hulk come to life, I loved that. But I hated the movie. I'm very glad they decided to re-make it.

Hulk is an uncontrolable beast. Go for R rating!

Captain America
In the Marvel world Hulk and the Cap are the only two I really like. This is one of those movies that can either bomb, or own. I don't want this to be a colorful movie like Superman 1978. I want this to have a....Saving Private Ryan feel. Yes, go for Rated R. This is a guy who wanted to fight for his country, but was a wimp. Then volenteers for a program and gets these ultimate atributes. This is a War Movie. I hope it's portrayed like that.

The Avengers
Let the Big Time heroes establish themselves with a movie first. Then think about green lighting this....

Thor
rent The 13th Warrior. And hope....

As for the small characters getting their own movies. No.

Heh T!M I was thinking the exact same thing about casting Thor. The leader dude in 13th warrior is the most perfect Thor I could ever imagine.
