So last month, I asked my niece what she wanted to be for Halloween. She said she thought she wanted to be a princess or something. She was on the fence.

So I put my plan into motion. Just about every weekend, I would break out some Batman: The Animated Series DVD's that had Batgirl in them. I systematically brainwashed her young, impressionable mind into line with my way of thinking. It took 3 long weeks, but finally she broke. She promised to be Batgirl for Halloween. We shook pinkies and everything. Tonight, she came through. The cutest Batgirl ever, even if she didn't have red hair. ;)

I took these right before she went out trick or treating.

I didn't tell her this, but this is what our pup did to her shoes while she was changing. Later she asked me why her socks were wet, I shrugged and told her I had no clue.

If by love you mean, hate her to the very core of her being? Then yes, that would have been perfectly suited.

Oh just think of the costumes you'll be putting your daughter in ;)

My co-worker's son was The Flash and one the pictures came out blurry but it actually worked so well with the costume

I saw the most realistic Supergirl costume the other night. Chick looked just like her. I wasn't enough of a dork to ask if she was into Supergirl, but it was spot on.

This is great. But man am I bothered by this newfound interest in Hallow's Eve over here. We already have one dressup-candy-bug-your-neighbours day, we don't need another one.
