Community ingame meetings

So is there any interest in trying to start these up again? We have gotten a few new board members and it'd be nice to meet up ingame. I know the attendance really dropped off the last time we tried to revive the gatherings. Perhaps just a once a month meeting? :think: :lurk:

I wouldn't mind attending. I noticed that when I tried to make the meetings after global went live - people stopped showing up in Atlas Park. The Gchat seemed to take the place of it.

I think these are great, and you should have them, but my playing times really limit my ability to attend.

The meetings are great for showing off a new outfit or your newest alt. Sometimes there is team-ups afterwards. A bit of RPing. And the screenies of everyone attending. I have tons of screenies from meetings.

Yeah those were a LOT of fun :) We'd always go do task forces after them. I might be able to make the Friday one but I'm not sure about Saturday.

Well, my question is Should we try them weekly again or just once a month?? There are two days with different times to make it easier for us to gather.

I say Bi-weekly, because any less makes it too normal and nonspecial, causing participation to go down. While monthly is too far apart and people forget... so lets compromise and do it every two weeks :P

I think I could make Friday nights... if I didn't have a life! :P (And a horrible commute that makes me want to stay in town until after the rush) Saturday mornings will work for me, now that I am out of tax season! :) And every two weeks sounds good.

I can try to make either one. I say we do it monthly. When we started these back up earlier in the year, I made the first ones on Friday and Saturday and by the third week I was the only one that showed up. I think every week makes them passe. So monthly would keep it fresh.

If it's a monthly deal, why not just integrate this into that? Or something.

I'll certainly try and make it. I think baby Lawmaker has been to at least 2 or 3 meetings since release... Last I checked he was still standing in that little park in AP :chuckle:

Having Global chat can be a benefit too, Since you can have Chat Message of the day, for reminders, and people can "check up" on who is coming or not... regardless of server...

I also think once a month to show off or chat would be effective, the frequency of meetings can be changed too if needed. Like Inkblaster Mentioned, this would be a good opportunity to have some events or intros or even to get know new alts or whatever. This also gives younger players (or transferees to Virtue) a chance to get some PL... :look: errr... or grouping in.

Hey everyone,

I know many of you have not heard from me in a while but I would like to get with some of you and game alittle. I will be at one of the two, probably Friday night. Having this bi-monthly would be great and a chance to do missions and stuff together, help each other lvl up, and do some general RPing.

I know not everyone is on Virtue so if there are other servers that want to have one of these, I have multiple alts on all severs and would love to get together. Maybe we can post hook ups on a thread inside a server thread for each post times, dates, and all that may attend.
