Okay, I played this for a while on my old SG forums. The game it to connect an actor/actress to Kevin Bacon by their works in Hollywood in six moves or less. It can either be a starring role or a cameo. Here's an example. It's going to be short just so you get the idea.

Steve Martin was in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles,
with...Kevin Bacon.

Okay have at it, and try to use IMDB as a last resort if you're stuck. You'd be surprised how many movies, good and bad, you remember.

I used to play this in film school, although we'd usually pick two people at random to connect, not necessarily use Kevin Bacon all the time. We starting finding that the game was too easy what with people like Robert Altman running around. So we added a rule: two people in a chain must not only share a movie together, they must share a scene. This means, for example, you couldn't connect Michael Douglas with Catherine Zeta-Jones in "Traffic", because they never had a scene together. I don't know if this is something you'd want to add to the thread here, just tossing it out there.

Surprisingly, I didn't need IMDB for Kate Winslet or Brendan Fraser. Whitewater Summer was the movie that inspired me never to join the Boy Scouts. Encino Man was part of an era in my late elementary school years where my friend Justin and I went to movies all the time, and ended up mimicking things like Pauly Shore and Mike Myers in Wayne's World.

I had to use it for Miranda Richardson, though. I didn't even know who she was.
