Okay I remember a while back we were working on ParagonCity.com: The Animated Series. Having lost 99.9% of all the information and quite a few people on this project due to board issues over the past few months I've decided to kickstart a new project.
Instead of an animated series, which this project can easily be converted to, I suggest we start an Radio/Audio Drama series...

First off we'll need to get a list of those willing to lend characters to this project, then writing/editing staff, followed by audio staff, then voice actors, after that we'll need to find someone to host them on a site.

You can put Humor down, and I'll help write too if needed.
Akamaz

you can also put maz down (and you can use mikoto, but i can't do her voice)
Charon

Put Charon down, but somebody with a seriously rough-ass voice is gonna have to play him.

I'd be willing to help out with Sonic... and Why don't we just use game-footage to make the show? I've got the programs to convert it to AVI Format.

Good idea... but if we can get it done Audio style first it shall be easy enough to put it to video later on.
btw... I use Virtual Dub and Video Wave 4 for my video editing; and audacity and *gasp* the sound recorder that comes with windows for my audio editing. :)

Hello Mr. Jones?
Yes, my master?
Hi, I'm workin' on a project for a forum and I was wondering if you could voice a character for a radio play series?
I have you now!
Uhh... its not for pay, unfortunately.
Do not underestimate the power of the force.
So... thats a 'No' to the project?
I find your lack faith disturbing...
WAH!
*hangs up*
Yeah, so you want a coffee can and some glass to chew on PW?
Necrosys
05-25-2005, 03:58 PM
You can put Comet Woman down for it.
It might be hard to pull off voice-wise, if you don't have anyone with an "upper-class English accent".
I'll also help with the writing if I can.

I'd also be willing to help with Voices/Video Capture if you need me to. However, I don't know how good I'd do in the Voice department, just saying I'm willing to help.

Added you both...
Might need two or 3 more writers and an editor for the scripts:
For this project I'd like to have a pool of writers (6 to 8 max) to come up/flesh out these ideas, plots, etc. for the series and then a smaller team of writers (3 to 4 max, which include some of the writing pool) working on the actual scripts themselves.
The editors (2 or 3 max) will review both both idea batches and the scripts themselves. Here rewrites or rethinks will be done and the process repeats itself until we have workable, agreed upon, script that both the writers and editors are happy with.
Writers cannot push a script or idea through to the next level unless okay'd by the editor(s) or by at least half the writing team, AND editors cannot kill an idea or script without an agreement with the other editor(s) or at least half the writing team.

If you need more voice actors, I'd be willing to give it a shot.
You can add in Empyreal if you want.
I'm willing to help with the writing and also if you need a voice. I've only screamed in terror for four years on the sound tracks for the haunt I work for. Plus voiced the computer for the space station attraction there. (Voice track was never used)

I can write; I have a wonderfull middle-England accent (and I can do plummy or slip into a passable sahth London accent when needed as well as a few other regional accents. But not Scottish, ironically enough).
The wife is also a brilliant editor but she's still busy with her novel and other work.
If you want to use any of my characters send me a PM.

Actually I was hoping to gather a writing staff first then get them all together and select an editor or two...
But people willing to step up to the role are welcome to throw their hat into the pool for the writing team to choose from.
So I'll add StalkingShadow and you to the editor's pool, okay?

Still willing to work on some music, just not sure how good it would be.

I'll be sending out a questionairre to those that volunteered heroes for this project.
When I start getting them back completed I shall ship them over to the volunteer writers to turn into basic dialogue scripts for a interesting preview of what's to come from this project.
Stay tuned...

I had more before CoH even was released but had to tone it down.
All my characters had a background when I created them, some of other countries like Wild Fury is from Urgut, Siberia originally.

I'm lovin' the responses to the questionairres, keep 'em coming people, a few more and I'll start sharing them with the writers pool so we can get to work organizes the characters we'll have available to work with!
That and we can get started on a mini-project that I'll introduce in a bit.

A question on the voicing of this project. How are they going to be recorded. I have teamspeak and I think it has recording capability. Or are you going to want lines recorded to dvd then sent?
And another thing. We're going to need a couple more female actresses I think.

You're welcome but if you need filler info to help out in my two characters, just ask. When I first created them back in the old forum days , some got connected through a supergroup I created in role-play. That would be F.I.S.T.
Most of the story is in Icebreaker's origin as you'll see when you read it. :)
So what's the latest on the ol' project here . . .
