So everyone knows, the campaign will be set in good old, trouble ridden, crime infested New York City! The city that never sleeps....because it's afraid to. ;)
It will not be set in any particular universe but NPC's from anywhere could pop up. Most NPC's you will have never heard of or MAY have read about in a book.
Heroes are present throughout the city and the world at large. Mutants are looked down upon and any clearly nonhuman will face pregidous(these are simulations of real people after all). So don't expect a fair shake.
All of you are heroes at the very beginning of your careers. For whatever reason you have decided to don the tights of Justice and protect those that cannot protect themselves. Evil is a foot and must be stopped.

Who's up for starting this week? Any characters still not finished can be introduced on the fly. Origins can be settled later as long as you have the basics as to why you are a crimefighter. Gotta some motivation, after all.

I'll work on my origin ASAP, then I'll be ready to start this week.

He's a gun-slinging amnesiac cowboy fleeing from a secret government programme. She's a sharp-shooting wisecracking schoolgirl married to the Mob. They fight crime!

Knowing each other would be easier but that I will leave to the players. Vote and let me know. I know some people want to RP everything.

I'm all for starting this week. I have everything except the origin for my hero already worked out. As far as knowing each other, I say it'd be good/fine for some heroes to know one another where applicable. That way people who want to know someone can and those who don't dont have to.
Sounds good! Quake do I need to change anything in my hero setup or am I okay?

I'm good. By knowing each other, do you mean, we're already a team? That's okay by me, but I always like to run through an "origin" issue for new teams of heroes.

Not a team but you can be acquaintances. Chances are you all know each other's Secret ID's just not that any of you are heroes.
