Ehhh... I would have appreciated it more, I think, if they went into more detail on what could transform the world's mightiest super heroes into flesh-eating zombies capable of (spoiler blacked out)eating Galactus and assimilating his power.

Clearly something reversed the polarity of their midichlorians.

Why on earth are you trying to find the logic in a humour book? That's like asking why, when Willy E. Coyote saws a hole in a bridge, that the piece that Road Runner is standing stays afloat and the bridge part Willy stands on plummets to the ground.

Incidentally, they're making a sequel. Sean is slaving over the meticulous drawings (http://surebeatsworking.blogspot.com/2006/09/more-zombies.html) and Kirkman is laughing dastardly in the distance.

I did like the series up until that point, and will most likely pick up the sequel just... GAH! Isn't the universe supposed to end or something if Galactus dies anyway?

Sorry, if I came off harsh. I didn't mean to. And yeah Galactus is somehow tied to the universe, but wasn't he just one of the few survivors from the previous universe here?

I don't know. I thought he was the only survivor but I could be wrong.

The fact of the matter is, this is still like a parallel universe, so maybe they were more susceptable(sp?) either way, I'm definately getting this if I see it.
