Geez Wolf, you must be my long lost brother. All those selections are sh*t I would have picked out.

Nice selection, I can't stand the Violent Femmes though.

If you like the Dropkicks try the Street Dogs, the singer is the former lead of the Dropkicks. Also Burby recommends Flogging Molly since they are similar to the Dropkicks.

Sweet selection, man. You should check out the Real McKenzies, they're like the Dropkicks or Flogging Molly except Scottish (except Canadian).

Well, I broke down and got a Napster account so I could spread my tendrils and absorb some more awesome music. Artists I'm downloading:

The Damned
The Dropkick Murphys
Flogging Molly
The Misfits
Neck
The Pogues
The Real McKenzies
The Sex Pistols
Fishbone
NOFX
Goldfinger

Anyone have more suggestions? I looked for Street Dogs, but couldn't find any on Napster. It's great to be legally downloading music, by the way.

I could post all my favourite bands here but considering you seem to be a fellow punk man I think I can leave the Smiths out of this one.

Stiff Little Fingers is another Irish band but this time sans the accordians and fiddles. I'd reccommed Suspect Device, Alternative Ulster and Long Way To Paradise as a taster. I can't believe they're still touring and recording after way over 20 years considering most of their British contemporaries all imploded.

[edit] You want Tin Soldier as well, that's probably my favourite song of theirs.

And the Libertines, they're a relatively new band (and maybe not as punk as you'd like, though still great) but already dissolved thanks to one of the lead's heroin problem. I'd start with Horror Show, Vertigo Time For Heroes and Up The Bracket.

Enjoy (hopefully).

Awesome, thanks Got. I'll get right on that as soon as I get home from work.
