creating a forum

First off let me say that I am not leaving this forum lol. I am just curious as to how to make a forum itself because I want to start up one with some friends of mine on native american culture/religon/tribes(possibly other spiritual stuff). I don't know where or how to do this and I was just asking for some help and/or advice. Thanks for your time!! :)

Well, are you wanting to set one up using a free service, or are you wanting to go the professional route by purchasing a domain name (blablabla dot whatever), server space, and installing your own forum software?

Type in free forums in google. There are step by step easy to use template forums with free hosting for you/your friends. Unless you want a vast army of poeple to participate in it. You can also purchase a domain name and link it to that free hosting instead of purchasing both a domain and a server host.
