They finally got around to adding avatars and interface, looks freaking amazing! PvP conquest, great looking combat, great looking avatars, looks to be some deep gameplay, and finally PIRATES!!!

Hey, I love that game! I just wish I could afford to play it...

So, on PBS, though, I'm curious... it looks like everyone will be the captain of their own ship? Is this right?

You do get to be a Pirate! They hadn't added Avatars to the game until literally E3!

Tynes showed off some of the character customization options, which currently include 14 areas from hats and bags to peg legs and hook. No parrots on the shoulder just yet, but players will be able to change just about everything to create their own version of Captain Kidd or Horatio Hornblower, depending on one’s leanings.

Nope, like they said, 70% of the game is PvE. This includes missions for all groups, NPC Pirates and tradeships to plunder, and smuggling.
