We gotta make a completely :symbol: one (I know its Guru now, but it just sounds more correct to still say :symbol: ) Anyways, we always try to get :symbol: SG's together but we were mainly all to into the game with our own niches to get organised, but with the game being new, and no one in, we can set it up. We should make one for just us, at least for if and when we all get into beta so we can work together and get settled from the start.

I have H.L.G. (Henchmen, Lairs and Gear.), which is a company that supplies other villan groups. (It's 'owned' by Vyxzuw, an entity that resides in Hell.)

It's goal is to enable others to commit acts of evil, so that they will go to hell when they die. (And thus, fall under Vyxzuw's control.) (Sell your soul type of thing.)

It's not going to have a take over the world agenda, and will be more anti-villan in many missions. (We don't want anyone conquering the world...then we'd be out of business.)

I agree about the Gurus. I have no special villain planned, no theme, no nothing. So I'd be in, if we create the evil Gurus. Of Doom. Death. And Destruction.

Actually, that would be kind of interesting. I've been basically thinking along the lines of bringing my two main heroes' rival in as a villain. But an interesting variation would be where J.D. and B.D. are the bad guys, and Silver Bolt is actually the good guy trying to stop them. (Genie Gold could still be basically neutral as she is, helping out with info, but not wanting to use her powers herself)

Or, I could mix up the powers yet again. Silver Bolt gets a couple of his friends to help him, kills off Richard and Michelle, leaving Robert to grab one of the powers, and become a more vengeful anti-hero sort. Oo, I like that. :D

Alot of great ideas...

I was planning to make a villain squad that in a sense thinks they are heroes, but even anti heroes say they go to far, and at the same time they dispise other villain groups (again b/c they think they are heroes). So basically they would commit crimes like kidnapping, raiding bases...etc. If they thought it would make the world better from their dimented perspective. There main goal is to control the city and rule it with an iron grip, ne one who commits crimes will be dealt with extreme punishment that would have Frank Castle saying "You guys are going to far"

Well, since we can't garuntee it'll be set in Paragon (The Rogue Islands are supposed to be located a lot farther out from Rhode Island), I'd vote for a bit more generally evil name... Pact of Hate, Brotherhood of Infamy, etc.
I''ve already got an uber-Hellion deisng in mind, so count me in.

City of Villains will be offering, as I understand it, all new powersets and, as we've already seen, an entirely new set of costume options. It'd stunt creativity to merely put a coat of black paint on anything I've already done and call it 'evil'.

Since they're both 'seperate' games you can have a Larke name used in both CoH and CoV at the same time, as if they were 2 servers. Just like the test server however your name will be changed if you 'switch' sides while your name is taken by other person.

That's extremely encouraging to know Morc :D, Great White may exist after all. Did the devs post this anywhere?

No, it's all assumptions. But I think it'd be more marketing for them to NOT have it that way. In fact I think we all know it'd be quite stupid. And since they have NO communication between heroes and villains aside from PvP it's safe to say it will be this way. (and yes the communication part is officially said by Lord Recluse himself)

No, this seems to be a new option (although the different motions are already in the CoH files). It seems that you then can see how your character would look if he would taunt, or flex or sit etc.

That being said, how about just the name Gurus? Short simple and to the point, and all it says about a member is "Expert at whatever they do."

Combination of RP/Non-RP, powergamers, completist, lowbies, any Guru welcome. There can be RPing, but no one is forced to participate.

I believe I'll end up helping Morc out at some point. Afterall after this long run of following the Dark Shroud it would seem a crime to let such a good group idea go.

As for my other characters... Whiptail may or may not join up with V.E.R.M.I.N. It's up in the air really. The Circle of Twelve was a sweet group but it wouldn't feel the same without the founding members. Hmmm what else, what else...

Here's one. Since one of my villains, the brute most likely, will be an angry God, I think I will found a group of villains known as:

Fallen Gods, or Heralds of Hell, or Heavenly Tyrants, ooohh maybe Deliverer's of Discord. I could go on and on with the names. It will probably take me a while to settle in on one. But any of you Evil GOd's and Goddess's out there send me a PM and I'll start to set up the details.

There's alot of villains that don't consider themselves evil. And in order to have those characters in the team as well, Gurus, in my opinion, is the best.
