My fire/dev blaster has the weapons mastery epic power pool and I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with LRM.

I'm looking for some specifics on slotting and damage; like 'don't take it' or 'take it for cool animations but don't slot it' or '5 slotted for damage one-shots orange conn'ing minions in a 25 foot radius' etc...

I have some experience with though not with slotting. It definitely needs to be slotted, mostly with dmg. It's a great long range AOE snipe. I was teamed with a blaster who was using it in a wolf farming mission. between his time bombs and LRM, he'd wipe a group out in almost as little time as my nova.

Kick ass power. My husband has it on his blaster, and my buddy has it on his ar/dev blaster and can 1 shot a group of +2ish. Take it, slot it, love it. :)

It can be quite useful, but it's long recharge time is a bit of a drawback. I say slot it with as many damage as you're willing to spare, but not at the expense of any of your "every battle" powers.

My main character is an Energy/Devices Blaster. Now I had only one AoE attack besides my nuke so I thought, "Munitions. AoE attack. This should help." I don't think it really helped to much though. It's a fun attack to play with a little bit, but I think that the LRM is just more of what you already have, and it doesn't exactly completely outshine the blasts you have already. I would consider respecing out of munitions and taking something like Fire Mastery or Energy Mastery. The resistences you get there really fill the holes in your character's abilities in a way Body Armor from Munitions just can't.
