...should it be enough reason for a new thread? I think so! Especially if it's a demo of a game as good as, well, Just Cause (http://www.eidosinteractive.co.uk/gss/justcause/index.html)!
Just Cause is an action game comparable to the Grand Theft Auto series, except that here, unlike in San Andreas, the emphasis isn't put on a gangster's dialy life, but on over-the-top stunts and amazing action sequences.
The story itself takes place somewhere in South America and it's pretty apparent that the game designers had no qualms about borrowing elements from movies like Once Upon a Time in Mexico, which I think is a very good thing.
The similarities are pretty clear, starting from the setting, to the main character, who bears a striking resemblence in both clothing taste and profession to one of the coolest characters in the movie, Sheldon (that's right! :chuckle: ).

So if you want to sample this incoming high-octane, adrenaline-pumped, insane gunfest, I suggest you give this demo (http://www.justcausedemo.com/) a try.

I really tried to like the demo for this, but it was just SOOOO frustrating. Maybe it's just the demo that's bad, but the whole thing just felt utterly chaotic.

Demo was ok, but controlling vehicles is really craptastic. You can flip your car or run into trees super easy.

I liked the stunts, and most of the vehichles and handeling but the targetting system, and the lack of ability to skip cutscenes, or end a current mission kinda bugged me
