Boo, didn't like the ending so much.

Would've been nice if they left with a little more resolution to the matter.

Don't forget to add a spoiler warning if you're going to give away any spoilers. I don't care, I'll still read them anyway, but some people get pretty upset when they read spoilers when they weren't warned beforehand.

I never watched one episode of Smallville before, but I did for the Batman thing. Batman... didn't look great, but now I might go back through and watch earlier eps of Smallville.. yay.. >>

I've got Seasons 1 through 3 on DVD, and with the opening episode of Season 4, the woman's sure to get it...for me....yeah, that's it, I'll just keep telling myself that.

Yes, the ender could have had a little more resolution, but(and for Emerald, SPOILER WARNING!!!)

Did that not just totally seem like the part in the Superman movie where clark throws the crystal into the snow?
Also, pure speculation, but what if that big crest thing is braniac?

oh, forgot to comment on Batman, looks pretty sweet, maybe DC is getting some frickin' brains back after the whole Catwoman debacle.

So Joey didn't get to stay with Dawson? Awww.

I've been a devout watcher of Smallville literally since day 1. I do think they 'jumped the shark' this season with the whole Lana/Isobel thing. To me they took a character they had already made strong in the first three seasons and cheapened them.

Did anyone else notice that once again they snuck in the original movie theme music at the end of the show when Clark throws the crystal?

Anyway, I also really liked the Batman Begins feature. I think that movie is going to do really well and surprise a lot of people this summer.

By this time in the finale, Clark has to know that Chloe knows about him or else supermen don't think.

On another thing WTH. Lionel shoots Jason last week. Jason falls off 100 foot cliff. Then he happens to come back with a pickup truck noless in less damage than if it were any of us. That is stupid. By all rights, he should've died last week.
I'll be interested to know if Clark's parents made it.

I don't watch smallville, but I did watch the batman preview, and that movie looks like it's going to be pretty sweet.

Here's to Frank Gorshin, The only true RIDDLER who has left us.
He died of pneumonia and lung cancer at 72

Well I wouldn't say he was in less damage, he was pretty bloody. He fell into the water below and in real life someone could survive that fall if they land in a lake or river beneath it. He should have died from the blood loss from his bullet wound more than the fall actually.

I watched the Smallville even though I didn't keep up with the show all season. So I was kinda lost as to what was going on. But I did see the Batman Begins preview. One thing is that I do not like his voice when he's dressed up as Batman. I'm not sure why.
I liked the rest of it though. I loved the batmobile. I want one!

RIP Frank Gorshin aka The RIDDLER.

I caught onto the series sometime in mid-season 3. I've tried my darndest to catch up and did so by the start of season 4. I LOVE this series. Very nice storytelling and the slow evolution of Clark into the hero and Lex the villain we know so well.

...plus Allison is the cutest damn thing. Evar.

Spoilers here:-------------------

I'm pretty sure the craft Lana's come across is or contains The Eradicator. I can't wait to see how the Fortress looks for this series... and it was intentional to make the tossing of the crystal mimic the movie, I'm sure.

--------------------------------

Predictions? Lex shows his true colors, Clark will learn to fly - possibly don the suit by the end, Clark will spill the superbeans to Lana and Chloe officially (and quickly I hope... quit dragging it out!), and Johnathan's health gets worse - maybe worse than worse. :(

I missed Smallville, but I did get to see the Batman preview. I'm VERY excited. Looks like they actually made a good Batman film. And I love the Batmobile, very sweet. Although my favorite will always be this one....

smallville season finale sucked. batman begins preview was awesome. I'm actually looking forward to seeing the movie more for Brucewayne than I am for Batman. Looks like the director did an intense character study of B ruce Wayne and it shows. The costume , IMO, still looks a little goofy. I would have liked to have seen an ultimate version of his costume, one that would be more believable in the real world...

One thing is that I do not like his voice when he's dressed up as Batman. I'm not sure why.

I think the funny thing is Bale's regular voice is very Batman-esque to begin with, so to truly differentiate he had to make it even more gruff, which did come off a little fake. But otherwise I think they've got it going well. Who else thinks of Boomtown when they see the scene where the train's heading into the rougher side of town?

Yeah you know, it has baffled me why they continue to use the molded plastic costumes. i would love to see a more realistic cloth-looking costume.

Even though the movie was crap, I thought the costume in The Phantom with Billy Zane was an awesome costume. It was body snug, it flowed and fit very well during action scenes and it showed body physique perfectly. The body mold costumes are outdated.

If you ask me the Ultimate Batman costume looks even more unrealistic.

But you didn't.

I imagine the moulded "plastic" is supposed to be light-weight body armor, but who knows. Personally I liked Batman's getup in Red Son.

Been watching Smallville since the very first episode. Have Seasons 1-3 on dvd. Big Fan...(Naturally being a Superman Fanatic)

The finale was great. Very epic. Can anyone say Fortress of Solitude? :chuckle:

/me Runs around the house butt ass booty naked screaming! "Fortresssssss!!!"

BAtman looks like it's going to be awesome. My second favorite hero. Was that Scarecrow? I gotta say though the guy that trains Bruce Wayne in ninjistu looks very out of place.

i thought the finale was cheap and they just did all the sudden disasters to make it a cliffhanger, they wasted previous episodes on lame bad guys when they could have done more story. and it was all about the season was full of hormones, everywhere from the very first episode, not that thats bad, its just not the point of the story thats all :)

anyway as for finales, go Bo! :)

Google has a couple sites, but most are dead links now. I did find this one, but the file is kinda big.
