Angel and Beast are said to be central characters in X3.

The role for Kitty Pryde, AKA Shadow Cat, is Lost star Maggie Grace. Seeing as how her role in the upcoming movie is also going to be somewhat important.

I'm still undecided how they are going to work Juggernaught because they haven't shown the guy who they cast for it in costume yet. Otherwise I think the actor for it has the right kind of character for the role.

Avi Arad did not comment on Gambit, let alone say he was going to be in the movie. Much to my dismay. :(

I'm thrilled that there's no sign of Gambit.

I was half-hoping they'd keep Steve Bacic for Beast (he was fantastic in Andromeda), but pleasantly surprised by the decision to go with Kelsey Grammer.

Hopefully they'll have a couple minutes of him pre-furry-wet-dream. That was always my favourite version of Beast.

Gambit's name showed up in X2 on the computer list that Mystique was looking at. But I, too, am glad he's not in the movie. I freaking HATE that character.

Angel is a tough one to call. It really depends on how they are going to portray him. There are plenty of all-American blonde actors out there, from all age-groups. If they go for a mid-30's Angel, I would say Brad Pitt. I really never liked him much, but after Troy, I find him less annoying.

And yeah, Kelsey can do it. If the guy who did Nightcrawler can pull that off, I'm sure Kelsey won't have a problem.
