Well Pirate Lady, even though I haven't been in game for like, ever, I still like an accurate alt list :p Pretty much the only alt sI played before I left were SF and SH, so yeah, remove PhS, and add Shadowhaze, and you'll be good.

Also, a suggestion: How about our global names?

Well, it didn't quite take three months, but hey, I'm compulsive. You can't expect a 12 year old to play the same character for a year and not get bored :P

So who's got new alts with the new powers coming out? I'm looking at Sonics maybe, archery is cool but I just see so many folks looking at archery.

I'm looking more at archery than sonics definately. Even with the changes they're looking at for Sonics already, if not because of.

If it took them this long to come out with new powers, and they're swapping things out and renaming them it don't bode well.

Anyways, looking at an archery defender, named Dauber. With the oncoming web of Arachnos junk, may as well make a character who's theme is to kill spidery villains. ;)

Ok, this set is currently undergoing a revision.

The fact was that it was too "Controllery" for a Defender power. There were also a lot of redundant debuffs that made the set VERY powerful.

Here are a list of changes that are currently being made. They are not in a patch yet, so I don't know when they will make it to the Training Room server:


Net Arrow: Removed Recharge debuff from Net arrow (Set already has many recharge debuffs)

Ice Arrow: Ice Arrow is now available later (swapped availability of Ice arrow and flash arrow). Increased recharge and decreased duration of Ice Arrow. Reduced Slow debuff. (To bring it in line with similar hold powers like Petrifying Gaze). Reduced base Accuracy of Ice Arrow. It was 120% of normal and should not have been.

Poison Gas Arrow: Increased Recharge of Poison Gas Arrow to 60 seconds from 24 seconds to prevent multiple stacking. Removed Recharge debuff from Poison Gas Arrow. Reduced its duration/lifetime. Reduced its chance to sleep. Fixed Poison Gas Arrow visual f/x.

Acid Arrow: Reduced Damage Resistance debuff of Acid Arrow. (Set has 2 damage resistance debuffs that could stack)

Disruption Arrow: Reduced Damage Resistance debuff of Disruption Arrow. (Set has 2 damage resistance debuffs that could stack). Increased Recharge rate of Disruption Arrow to 120 for Defender and Controller to prevent multiple stacking

Glue Arrow: Reduced Duration of Glue Arrow from 45 seconds to 30 second and Increased Recharge time from 20 seconds to 120 seconds to prevent multiple stacking. Fixed Glue Arrow visual f/x.

Flash Arrow: Added the ability to add Accuracy Enhancements to Flash Arrow. Fixed Controller version so it no longer AutoHits.


I doubt it will go live like this, many players think that it is a little too harsh. We'll see, though, we will see.

Unfortunately, HL has left the game again. He was having a hard time finding people to team up with which is what he finds most fun in the game. I think he's back into WoW or EQ with some friends. :( I miss him.

I am learning to appreciate the sonic set a little more, especially with the kick butt name I've reserved. I think what I really didn't like is the sonic debuff set.

Truly I'd be more happy with it if it was Force Field. There is no power like Force Bolt or Power Push in either set and I think that's sad, where's my SONIC BOOM! Power?

So, I'm thinking FF/Sonic defender, with personal FF, Force Bolt and Dispersion bubble.

This character would really be a concept character, and as such wouldn't get the shield individual ally powers, at least not until way later. Think that would hamper him? I really don't like that aspect of bubbling, and feel bad when I see others doing it, they waste all their power before a battle and it takes that extra chunk of time, kind of a pain. I dunno, what do you bubblers think? Istasi and No-Show, I'm looking in YOUR direction....;)

Well, my bubbler semi-retired, but I guess I can comment.

If you don't want to get the ally bubbles, that's cool, just don't expect people you don't know to be too kind.

First things first, as I mentioned (semi-frequently) when I played PhD, I hated having my end be under 50% before the battle started. It sucked. Majorly. I mean, as a 32+ Illusion Controller, my job in the battle was kind of mindless, but still, I hated it.

The amount of time it takes to bubble everyone really isn't that bad, 30 seconds at most.

Anyways, yes, they can be a pain, but they did do a world of good back in the day (not so much if the changes on test go live.)

Speaking of the flashy sig, I can't help but notice the purply blast, have you tried my purple blast mod in the mod section? It makes the blasts purple, much like how Prince sees the world.
