Okay I have kids. And they like superheroes just as much as their two parents. Well I went into this expecting something awful. Then I read the cast list as the credits rolled at the beginning this. I was impressed to say the least Tim Allen, Rip Torn, Chevy Chase, and Courtney Cox.
I have to admit I actually liked it. It was funny with a lot of adult moments that went over the kids heads but were delivered just right. Effects were mediocore but hey its a cheap kid flick based off a book called "Zoom's Academy" so I didn't really expect to be wowed *spoilers*Though the bit with the flying saucer and buying takeout food was funny. Their superhero costumes could have used better color and I don't know what was up with the power rangers helmet for Zoom at the end.*end spoilers*
Stay a little into the ending credits they have some cute out takes with the cast. All and all a fun couple of hours to spend watching something you don't really have to think about. And the two year old sat through it which was a bonus for me :)
