Its almost finished, needs the counter top, which won't be in for bout 3 weeks (unfreakingfortunately, so i'm hoping to get some percentage off, cause they messed up on a cabinet so gotta wait for that and stuff.. sucks)

Holy crap on a cracker. That is one beautiful kitchen Larke. My mom would freak over this. What kind of counter tops are you getting? Granite?

A much needed change, and it looks GREAT Larke. I believe that's just one daughter, that moved when the camera was panning, right?

yes actually its only one daughter and I had her move when I took the next pictures, I was gonna have her in there a third time but it wouldn't have stitched right :)

OH and the counters are just gonna be laminate, I couldn't afford anything more, really wanted corian, but when its double what laminate is, I'd almost be paying more for my counters than I did for my cabinets.(with the cheap corian that is)

I'm fairly certain that's a side effect of the picture splicing.

Nice looking kitchen as well. I love the curved track lights.

Same, I have that same old counter top that you had. The guy that put it on did a crappy job, and I'm getting some black marble topped counters. Or some other color, maybe brownish tops..since i have hardwood floors..

This makes me realize I should watch more HGTV to spruce up my pad.. :)

my kitchen has room for one person (and is pretty uncomfortable with just me in it, let along kids running through it cause it's the main way to get to the bedrooms from the living room

Aw, thats a shame. Some corian would look great in that kitchen. Granite counter tops are cool because you can use the entire counter as a chopping board. Also, the litle flecks of quartz make is sparkly :D

yeah the kitchen isn't curved like that, I do virtual tours for realtors, so if it had been in a virtual tour window it would look much better. :)
